Hey Marco! I think you made your friend Thomas very happy not only with the Patriot trailer but the awesome food that you make at camp. The drone footage was amazing the beauty of the desert really shows. Wishing you, your family and all of the OVRLNDX a very Merry Christmas 🎄
Congratulations Marco on the new trailer! Looks like Thomas got one of the nicest used trailers you could ever imagine! Hope to get on the trails with you again in 2024!
Anza Borrego is also my favorite park. I've been exploring, enjoying, wheeling and camping there for over 35 years. I think it's important to let everyone know that the park has strict rules about fires. NO FIRES ON THE GROUND! They want to keep the desert pristine. So.... a fire pit is a MUST if you want a fire! Don't mean to sound like Ricky Ranger (I'm not), but since you and Brad are publicizing the Anza Borrego and it's sure to get (even) more traveled, I thought it a good point and something you might even consider reminding the folks of in the future.
Yes! In all Anza metal containers for fires it’s a must! Both of us Brad and I have mentioned it before! Also picking up poop!! Do not bury it! The desert is so dry that there’s hardly any bacteria to break down human waste
Hi Marco- It was really great meeting you and Thomas in Borrego Springs as you headed out into the desert. We’re glad to know you got the site you wanted. Best wishes to both of you with your new trailers! -John and Jennifer
That’s the best can opener in the world a p 38 used it many time in the service ❤❤❤ they work great ! Every one should have one I have had mine 50 years and still working great ❤❤
Marco, going camping with you is like going camping with a food truck behind you all the time. That's like going to a hotel and 1st class dinning!!! Thank you for the video...
Great video Marco. New subscriber, as of today. Your channel just recently came across my feed and I’m really enjoying your videos. The off-roading is good, food looks delicious, camper trailers fun to see & learn about and your accent is superb! I need an overlanding friend like you! 😃. Keep up the great work! Cheers!👍
Nice! I love the drive to Julien, my wife not so much!! I haven’t made the commitment to an off-road trailer yet, but I haven’t ruled one out either! Can’t wait to get to Sandstone Canyon. Merry Christmas Marco!
I love your overlanding set up! Thomas seemed ecstatic with his purchase. I suspect I will see him out and around Lake Arrowhead where I live. I am a van lifer but looking into trading up into an overlanding set up.
I still have my p38 can opener on my keychain that was issued to me by the US Army almost 60 years ago. I hardly use it anymore but it did save the day for me once last summer.
Hi Marco! I finally subscribed to your wonderful channel. I noticed you on Trail Recon and wanted to check your channel. I was surprised seeing you open the can of pinto beans with a P51 can opener when you have all of that electrical capability...lol. I have been wanting to see Anzo Borrego but always end up at the Barona Casino with my daughter, who lives in La Mesa. Next time I drive through Julian I will stop and get an apple pie, too. Great video.
I just came back from Baja went there with all my grandkids. The RtT worked amazingly for me and my wife! I wil still be using the James Baroud when not bringing the trailer
This is cool to see someone get a great trailer passed on. I just saw Brad's trailer from trail recon at the Patriot location in Vegas a couple of days ago 😂. As cool as it would have been to get his i am going with a new Gen 1 X3! Maybe one day we'll cross paths and i can try that famous cooking
Thank you so much!! lol that can opener it’s from the 70’s it belonged to my father in law. He gave it to me before passing. But yeah! A modern can opener is nice
Why is it that I suddenly get hungry after watching your videos? LOL! Regena recommended Julian's so we stopped by on our trip out there earlier this year and it was delicious! I'm salivating over those tamales. We always made them during the holidays in Texas. So nice that you handed over your XN1 to a friend because you know he'll take care of it. Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🎄
Congratulations Marco on the new trailer! My family loves watching your adventures and cooking. One question, what coffee maker were you using and what coffee? Enjoy the content man.
Hi Marco, congratulations on the trailer. Do you have a video or can you share what mod you did to your Jeep to tow the trailer? The specs for the Gen 2 are over the towing capacity of the JLU, I’m curious as I been looking into the trailer.
Hola Marcos, acabo de empezar de ver tus videos, me está llamando la atención la vida overland, y estoy viendo precios de todos los artículos que traes con tu jeep, sigue subiendo más videos saludos desde , Mazatlán Sinaloa !!!!
And im here admiring the spices wheel that you pull from the trailer.....😯👍👍👍👍. Your friend is going to tell his nietos This trailer belongs to El Gran Marcos,The flavor King.
Hey great vid sorry to see the old trailer go but hope the new one is just as good. I love your kracken tire air inflation plate with the arb compressor. Do you have it set up to air up the trailer? If you do how do you do that?
Can you do a video of your cooking gear that you have to double up own in your camper because you use it at home I don’t want to take my good home cooking pan out if my wife has to cook at home while out
I was wondering why you had him save the camping spot. You typically don't need to save a spot in Anza Borrego.... Then, when the drone panned out, I realized that you guys got the SUPER SECRET camping spot. That spot has a history with Patriot Campers and I thought it was fitting you guys camp there with both your outgoing and new camper. I was lucky enough to camp there before, and I also noticed that area is incredibly quiet.
Parting is such sweet sorrow. Now your compatriot has a campside story to tell. That trailer right there used to belong to Marco from Overland X. He should name it "ITs Easy to Make"
😊 Thank you Marco for the Adventure! Food was outstanding and the company was even better. I'm looking forward to many more adventures with the new trailer!! (PS the editing came out great)
Hey Marco! I just purchased the Patagonia XT's in a 37 and I wanted to see what your long term impression of the tires have been? Noise? Overall performance? Have you had them in snow/ice?
Buenas tardes Marco, antes que nada gracias por compartir tu experiencia, me gustaría coincidir contigo en uno de tus viajes por la baja, déjanos saber cuando estarás por acá nuevamente, saludos Dr Hurtado Vidal

Marco...You were in Julian then AB. Did you take Oriflamme Canyon or the 78 to get to AB?
We did not do Oriflame this time! We went directly to Borrego Springs

You know it!
Overland cookbook?
Yes! Working on the second one!
Hey Marco awesome video. I never was a big fan of trailers you cant make a uturn on a tight trail.
No way! You’ll be surprised what you can do with the brake controller!
The reason I got rid of the X1N was because I got a new X1. 😁
Oralé, click bait...que gacho....lol. I was like damn brother..I just got a trailer wth? Congrats on gen2

When pulling trailer in soft sand do you air down trailer tires? What air pressure do you run on your trailer on Highway and off-road?
I do!! The trailer's tires on road pressure is 40psi, while off-roading i drop it to around 20 psi

i would love to get an offroad trailer but its gotta be less than 2000lbs fully loaded for my Jeep MP to tow it.
Wait for the new @patriotcampers X2 Gen2 👌🏼
Hey Marco! I just purchased the Patagonia XT's in a 37 and I wanted to see what your long term impression of the tires have been? Noise? Overall performance? Have you had them in snow/ice?
Good choice! The XT's are my favorite. Keep the pressure around 37psi while on the road, they work great on sand and snow!
@@OVRLNDX Thank you, I’ve been chasing the sweet spot for air pressure, I’ll try that!
Marco back to eating meat. Awesome!!
Yes sir!
i dont understand how your gonna cook on the trail without your trailer OMG
😁 oh yes! More cooking for sure!
Love Julian. Your buddy’s jeep looked fairly stock rubicon.? Or did he do any mods. How did it perform on the trails?
