Crete is beautiful. The kids did a great job filling in for you and Jack while you parked. I think what I love most about Greece is how different the islands are.
Dear Valentina I could never imagine you come from Crete ! Please I'll offer you a piece of advice if I may ! Don't leave the island before you visit Ag. Nickolaos ( its lake is known that joins underwater with Santorini's volcano and last time the volcano exploded the waters of the lake were boiling and dead fish were coming on the surface, and many many years ago Jacques-Yves Cousteau dove to explore it and he said that he could not find the bottom of the lake because it looked like a sprue ) and last but not least pls pls visit the archeological museum in Heraklion ! You will be amazed ! Thanks once again for being one of the few youtubers that shows that Greece is not only Myconos and Santorini !P.S. Crete is the biggest island of Greece😘

I love how you just explore and wander, allowing flexibility for the spontaneous! I think it is easy to over plan because you don’t want to miss anything, but that can actually lead to more missing out because of a tight schedule. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
Oh this was beautiful. We were in Crete exactly one year ago this week, in Damnoni. Such a paradise, the local food, the people, the sea…and the kitties! So glad you enjoyed “coming home.”

I spent over two years in Xania during my national service. An amazing place, but of course it’s not just the buildings, it’s the people, most of them settled there during the 1920’s after the Turks chased them to the sea to drown. But we mustn’t talk about that and upset the barbarians. Also discovered the people of the white Mountains, humanity beyond expectation, I left in 1975, but my heart is still there. Crete is big , you need days to see the whole island , realy beautiful. You will love Rhodes, I hope it has come back to life after the tragic fires last year.

Bet you have some awesome photos, it’s beautiful! Here in Oz, I’ve been wondering what colour to make my plain rectangular wood plinth and of course looking at your lounge room for inspiration. Just given it a black wash with black wax so it’s as dark brown as possible with some black and it looks fantastic. Thanks for the inspo! ❤

The restaurant you read as ‘nanna’ in which you ate in Chania, is actually called ‘Pallas’ (sort of a nickname for goddess Athena). I get it though as the font was misleading 😁 Normally would look like ‘ΠΑΛΛΑΣ’ Great content, makes me look forward to my trip to Greece in two weeks!
