The Pumpkin spice syrup recipe is pumpkin butter, water and sugar...correct? I would add a little piece of cinnamon stick, sprinkle of nutmeg and 1 star of anise to it while making the syrup to give it that spice kick. You can garnish with a stick of cinnamon or star of anise. A very interesting old fashioned for the winter!! Definitely going to try it!!
@@Tusc9969 I didn’t add anything but pumpkin butter and water only because it’s already sweet and full of all the spices you listed. Pumpkin butter is basically a pie in a jar. I thought it had a lot of flavor on its own.
@@Crownlounge2011 Oh ok... the reason I asked is because the pumpkin butter I've got is raw and organic which has no sugar or spices. So I guess I'll be adding the spices and a little maple syrup which is a unique and winter flavor, and heat it on low until it thickens up. Thanks for the idea. Cheers 🥃
@ yeah if you using that then I would add to it. Now if you want a different one that is all spiced up I left the link in the description. I probably should’ve made a video of how I did and what I used.
