this song and video is pure education. for children and for adults. it is even funny.
Before I started listening to TrollfesT I had really narrow tastes in metal. I only wanted to listen to "clean" lyrics and didn't like anything harsh. I was so ignorant of that side of the metal scene that I thought it was called "screamo" lmao. But after TrollfesT I warmed up to it and now there are whole new genres to explore. I don't know what about TrollfesT caught my interest specifically but it was you who opened my ears to the glory of the death growl and harsh vocals in general. Thank you Mr. Trollmannen and the rest of the band!

In finland we have this thing called lalli who is claimed to have killed a bishop at the icy lake of Köyliö, this reminds me too much of that. There's also a great song about the incident which moonsorrow made, called Köyliöjärven jäällä.

I have been thinking of playing this song during this week especially the following Thursday because for Christians it is Holy Thursday but for me it is another glorious day of Thor. While most people are celebrating the holy week I am going to celebrate the pagan week.
I listen a lot of swedish folk metal and I also know some words. I was singing this song (it was on spotify) until I noticed that the pronounce was a waaaay too easier than swedish... And the words had that "ø"! Saw the album cover and was like "Oh... Now it makes sense!" Gotta admit that I prefer norwegian haha Now I'm studying both languages :) Thanks to Trollfest, I'll end this quarentine speaking a little bit of norwegian!

The subtitles are very nice, I heared this song a few days ago and had an idea about some of the words and guessed it was Norwegian.
