Venice BEST Photo Locations (+ Compositions & other Tips!) [SUB ENG/ITA] - Leo's Photography Guides

- Are you planning a photography trip in Venice and trying to figure out which ones are the best locations to visit? Well, I got you covered!
I decided to create a video about the best locations you can shoot in Venice, one of the most beautiful and unique cities of the world, and without any doubt a photographer's paradise!
The video is available with english and italian subtitles, so that everyone can follow me from the start to the end of it!
To create a bit of "hype" I decided to list the photo spots based on my personal preferences, giving you my honest opinion about which ones I like more and which ones I feel are a bit overrated.
For each photo spot we are going to see some possible compositions and the best times of the day to be there, so that you already know how to plan your photography sessions. All along the video we'll have the chance to see some of Venice most popular spots as well as some less known locations of the "floating city".

Don't forget though that Venice is not just Piazza San Marco, Ponte di Rialto, Ponte dei Sospiri, etc; every corner of Venice is worth a look (and possibly a shot!); you'll find countless beautiful scenes just by randomly walking around the city centre, so remember to explore the whole city and don't stop to the most popular places!

Great video.
I found no #2 impossible to capture. Great view but the bridge is shaky when people walk on it and it was all the time like this when I visited.

Davvero uno spettacolo. Sarò a Venezia con mia moglie e figlio da domani fino al 30 luglio, non sarà facile raggiungere i luoghi che suggerisci (la maggior parte li avevo adocchiati) all'orario giusto, ma ci proverò. io scatto con D7200 e 16-80. Thanks for the voyage ! I never went to Venezia but I own a beautiful book «Venise la nuit» (Venezia by night), there are beautiful places almost hidden, aside touristic centers, small simple houses one or two stairs.
''Get lost'' is what I understand from my readings and often works with many places. I guess if I come to visit I will be unable to leave ! 😊
Get lost is the key here. For sure all the famous places are worth a visit as they are beautiful, but I think it’s when you get lost in the small streets and canals that you capture the essence of the city!

Nei video futuri cercherò di aggiungere qualche angolo più nascosto 👍🏻

Hi, most of the images were taken either with the 14-24mm or the 24-120mm, both Nikon lenses. :)
