Last summer I bought a 1VJ and drove it 10’069 km from Switzerland to the North Cape and back. In those 5 weeks i have done highway, twisties, some TET trails and was always camping. I couldn’t have wished for a better bike. I love it so much end absolutely love the joy and 80‘s vibe it brings to my daily commute to work. Looking forward to more amazing videos❤
Awesome! That’s what they are build for 🤟🏻
i had a 34L and was daily up until fairly recntly... had to sell during covid and miss that bike so badly.. just bought a 83 TT 600 that im now restoring but the xtz was the best
Thanks for bringing this, great job and fun to watch and educational even for someone very familiar with Teneres!
Thanks a lot Drazen, means a lot 🤙
Good job! Love to see the upcoming videos on the Tenere!
Thanks! Incoming 🤟🏻
Absolutely brilliant video thanks for taking the time to post 👍
Thanks for the support Norton Rider 🤙
Very nice video, Thanks Man!
Lots of fun and good sense. You gonna spread the XT 600 passion all over the place with such an enthusiasm.
I had a 2KF 25 years ago in France, & loved it! I just bought a 1984 49N (L) in the US, to renew with the simple pleasure of kick-and-ride. I have to learn again the defects/issues to solve with the first models, as there were some. What I remember is the basic rule forced upon all kick-riders : the number of kicks is proportional to the size of the crowd of watchers...
Thanks a lot mate! And I know exactly what you’re saying about the kickstarting with audience 😆
Awesome you bought that ‘84 model! Is it the same as 34L?
Mainly weaknesses:
- stator
- oil pump
- suspension
- tank leeks
- driving shaft wear
Very beautiful work! 🔝
Viva Ténéré ✌🏼
Nice video ! Cant wait for more !!
Thanks a lot mate. There’s three more video’s coming on the Tenere. And we’re shooting the next enduro bike this month.

I live in Brazil.
The 2VG version was sold in Brazil between 1990 and 1993. Here is a link to a video of it on a sand trail in southern Brazil:

Good Video. Im Happy that young People hold the good old enduros alive. I have an 2kF and 34l, and i had a 1VJ. Its like a time travel back in Time. For me it will be always the best vehicle of all time. They have a very special charakter. I have 2 Videos on my channel of my xt's, but in German language. Maybe i should do it in english. Where are you from?

Great video. Did you build that head light tower yourself or can you buy that somewhere? Lekker bezig 💪🏼
Thanks mate! It’s a set from boxermoto, a French company.
Where did you buy the handguards and covers?🙂
🏍️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Had the xt 550 82 model it was great for everything except riding on highways. After 120 klm it was almost impossible to ride. I kept it for 14 years.
Ciao

Had a 1vj saw 180kmh on the clock more than once depending on wind ect with stock sprockets, don't know what true speed was.
Loved that bike was stolen one night and they tried to take my Vmax as well.😢
What Type of front visor/Wind stopper do you have?
Hi! It’s from motoboxer, a french company 🤙
Gave machine!
Stay tuned
I have seen 160kmh on my 3aj but I definitely got the feeling it wasn't built for high speed 🤭
Haha, it’s possible not comfortable! The 3AJ even got better airflow then the 1VJ. Awesome bikes though.
excellent bike, though its predecessor 34L, is even better, only because i have one......😁
