i just recently got into producing music from my home studio so i listen to different types of music know. to all who put this man on youtube i owe u a det of gratitude. i only listened to hip hop n rnb but WOW this man Scott unbelievable voice im hooked on his songs and the instruments and recordings. Man. glad i stumbled on this guy. great find wish i could get a hold of his collections.

This man's voice can be heaven or hell. This is heaven. So glad we have a backlog of wonderful recordings like this to listen to. Unfortunately, I don't care to listen to the stuff he presents us with/churns out today.

Wonderful Scott Walker: the singer of so many voices. Whilst consistently my first choice of male singer/ songwriters, in this reading of Mancini's theme to the movie "Wait Until Dark", he is perhaps a tad schmaltzy, with too much vibrato?
Respectfully disagree.. his phrasing and timing are especially impeccable on this song in my opinion.. the way he holds the word "form" from bars 14 to well into the next line at bar 16 is almost atypically audacious..to me this may be the sleeper on the great Scott 2 album.

I know what you mean but bbc did a documentary and it showed him in the recording studio and that music made sense but it is a challenge
