I've watched Mitch for over 2 years and it's inspired me to take on car detailing my self and I now actually work for a company detailing cars 8 hours a day Monday to Friday! There's nothing I love more doing! ❤️
@@classyviper1one thank you bro! I do 45 hours a week cus I do Saturdays as well 9 till 2! I've fell in love with it honestly ❤️ if it wasn't for Mitch i don't think i would of took it on tbh!
Mitch, I'm in Pennsylvania and my area is inundated with smoke from wildfires in Canada. I have seen how bad it's getting up there and I hope you and your family are safe.
Although the dirt that you vacuum out of vehicles when detailing them is disgusting, the detris is nothing to compare with what I saw for 40 plus years as a Medical Technologist. Your work on detailing is incredible. Thanks for the work you do.
Can't believe how people treat their cars. I would be embarrassed taking my car to a detailer looking like these cars. But that's what keeps Mitch in business.
I was about ask if you used the Tornador gun it helps a lot with that deep embedded dirt/dog hair. Detailing at a dealership it’s helped me and my coworkers a lot over the years
I strive everyday to get where you are man. I love your content and appreciate what you do more than you know. I currently work full time but run my own detailing business on my days off. Any advice you can give or anything at all would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Glanced at the screen and the garage looked really dark, then I realized it's the home garage. It's actually bright but not like the new studio. Always fun to look back. Edited for typo.
That was a very cool look back. That focus was cleaned expertly at the original DG garage. A proven process with great narration in this video explaining the steps, equipment, tools, chemicals. It's not just entertainment because Mitch is fun, it's also very educational and informative about cars, build quality, cleaning and a clear process. GO MITCH!!!
Would your bug spray get off bird poop too? A stinking bird has holed up under our car port right over top where my antenna on the back of my car is and I can not get it all off. Even with a pressure washer
You need to do something about the bird. There are many options, it's up to you to choose your own level of niceness! Maybe could just staple a plastic sheet under the nest?
@@simpletonballsack the baby birds will be gone shortly and we’ll remove the nest. This is her second set of babies this summer. She builds there every summer, we don’t always catch it before the babies hatch unfortunately. I just need a way to remove the bird poop currently on my car. Lol
@@nicolemaiden4411 If there's a few poops, just fold paper towel twice to make it thick, fully wet it and sit it on the poop for a while to soften it then most of it will wipe off. Saves money on cleaning products, unless you already have some.
@@nicolemaiden4411 After watching all these detailing videos "scrubbing" sounds like "scratching" but it's how I got the tar spots off my car. Elbow grease is cheaper than Meguiars products!
I’ve been trying to clean my car that a mechanic owned before me, i have a fairly cheap extractor and it’s struggling to get these stains out of the driver side carpet. Its a beige interior and i was wondering if anyone has any tips for getting (what i’m fairly sure) is oil out, as my extractor is not cutting it.
I have a red Ford focus and I you did not take out the seats. Is that not recommended for this car? Because it is real difficult to get all the dirt and shampoo under those seats.
Nice video! I got a question for the detail geek or anyone who knows an answer. I have a 2022 Honda Civic, I clean it regularly, but one thing I have noticed is that the cloth on the seats is starting to loose its color. It is starting to go a little bit faded. What would be the best method to clean and restore it back to looking like new?
At some point you will need to replace the seat cover, everything breaks down eventually and the more chemicals used and how often creates the the problem. This is especially true for the headliner
@@davidhakadoober._1- Strange that their Honda seats are only 2 years old and losing colour. Not enough time to break down from UV or chemicals unless he washes them with sulfuric acid and parks it in a solarium.
@@simpletonballsack well since he claims that he cleans it regularly that leads me to believe that it's from the chemical and the excessive cleaning otherwise it's garbage material used for the seats as another possibility but you do you boo.
@@davidhakadoober._1- He didn't say he cleans the seats regularly but if he does, there's no fabric cleaner that could damage fabric so quickly if used close to correctly. I'll agree with your suggestion that the seat material could be shit, "boo". Do you have an answer for his question about restoring fabric colour?
That's the nature of the business my friend. Detail costs money !!! Probably the dealership gives a wash to the customer but if the customer wants a detail ... got to pay for it !!!
@@simpletonballsack It honestly wouldn’t surprise me because of the Chems we use and some of the supplies. I’ve bought better from Autozone and did the same to my car that we do at the dealer and it looks 1000 times better
Great Job. I'm always a little surprised when somebody pays for an expensive detail on a really budget car. I'm sure a really nasty vehicle can be over a grand to get properly detailed.
Nice job, but I dont understand these owners who neglect their car for so long, and after are ready to pay the high price for a detailling, for a car who got a low value.
You know that these are steel wheels and you can simply pull off the plastic to clean it? You cleaned all the carpet wheel liners so I would expect my wheels to be clean behind the plastic as well.

Hey Mitch,
The car looks great and bright white!!!😊
As Always Amazing!!!❤
has there ever been a car you refused to work on?
You are inspiring me to do auto detailing

You did an amazing transformation on this Ford Focus Mitch love seeing the before and after clips.😊😊
Imagine your Car been washed here and this guy welcome you for being his biggest fan.
The best feeling ever
This focus looks so much better Mitch
I like the carpet extractor It works wonders And is not even expensive. One of the best tools you work with
Wish you and your loved ones well during these wildfires. Love your content. All the best

I always look @ the floors 2c if he's home or @ the shop and the walls. Also how I can tell if it's an old or new video. Its a habitual kind of thing.😂
These videos are informative and so satisfying to watch. Will be purchasing a power washer soon and plan to put it to use.
doing a same year focus this weekend. 3 years since it's been detailed.
Big difference thanks for sharing take care
Looks great. Does it at all damage the paint if you mechanically wash it without rinsing the foam off first? Or does it not really do anything?

Hey Detail Geek, do you know someone you could reference in Montreal that does the same job you do there ? Thanks.

How long does that dashboard and trim shine, last. Will the dash and trim go back to the same colour as before when it wears off

Happy to see a dirty but not nasty car. No fastfood and fries, makes a big difference.
Do you use a degreaser for the wheel wells or just the pressure washer?
Love the videos man do you think you can do a video on how to start a car detailing business
What pressure washer do you use, what's the gpm, and what psi do you have it set at?
Can you use iron remover on color paint ? ( black car )
Do you only use iron remover on white vehicles?
Waiting for mitch to do detailing with some of the most expensive cars or Exotic Cars
The pressure washer always works wonders on dirty door jams. Quick and effective!
Why some cars have to remove seets when you clean and some of them not
Because there's not always such a mess under the seats.
Thanks dear for your explanation 🙏
