Sam, again I mean no disrespect, but as a well-known youtuber now you need to take some of the criticism from your viewers & apply it to your videos. In the Kia K5 GT vs the same Dodge Charger 5.7 video, the Kia K5 won comfortably, yet in this video the Elantra N struggled to keep up & beat the Charger. However in the Kia K5 GT vs Elantra N video the Elantra N won easily (which I found bogus) In the Sonata N Line vs GTI (vs WRX) video the GTI won and you saw the amount of negative comments the Sonata N Line driver copped. This is why I feel your videos aren’t trustworthy results & everything seems all over the place, you need better more proffessional drivers or someone who knows how to shift a car at the right rpm, alot of the drivers in your videos are amatuers, surely you have the budget now to hire someone to race. And obviously you need to turn on the NGS in the Elantra N when you drag race, that’s the whole point of drag racing, is to put your car at its maximum potential not because people get “obsessed over it” But anyway that’s just my 2c
Imagine having twice the cyclinders and more than twice the displacement. And you are getting stomped.....by an economy car. Imagine if the Japanese or Koreans built a 5.7L V8 and stuffed it in a car.....
Great race! I was honestly surprised the Charger won the majority of the races. As a current N owner and former modded 5.7 R/T owner, I thought the N would pull on it, but not the case. I think while the launch control is fun and a cool feature, it’s actually not as good as just a brake boost and slow lift off the brake to avoid the wheel hop, which kills the 60 ft for the N. The roll race I thought ok now no launch issues but that still didn’t go as I thought it would. Maybe heat soak? IDK. Either way, it was close each time and they’re both really great performance values.
If they actually launched the N properly it would have beat the charger every time. I've learned to do quicker runs without launch control. That charger sounds sick though.
@revving_four yes, I watched the whole video. The N got beat in both races from a dig (race 2 was super close but it looked like the Charger just barely held him off to the finish line) and the N got beat in 1 of the 2 roll races. If my math is correct, that’s Charger 3 to Elantra N 1. There’s not much weight to saying it’s all lack of driving ability when it comes to mashing the pedal in a roll race, so all these “Sam is a bad driver” excuses are just that, excuses. Believe me, as an N owner I was pulling for the N, but there’s no denying the results. At the end of the day they’re both very close in real world performance.
Would like to see how the Rt Road and Track variant of the 5.7 fairs against the k5 and N. With more aggressive gearing and slightly better suspension, it should stand a better chance in both rolls and Digs

You won't have any lifter issues if you actually do your maintenance on time... 116k miles on mine and still runs like the day it was built and puts down more power at the wheels than stock crank power rating.
Elantra N is top notch for it's price to performance and also the interior.

The only time I lost to a scat in my G70 was when one of the scat pack drivers friends got caught on video pouring some track bite down under the wheels for traction after there first loss LOL. Scat will need a perfect launch for the W and 99% of the times they will spin. If they spin.. even a slight bit it's over
I couldn’t even concentrate on the race. I was obsessed with the stupid pine tree air freshener on the rear view mirror…..Do people still do that? 😂 LOL
However in the Kia K5 GT vs Elantra N video the Elantra N won easily (which I found bogus)
In the Sonata N Line vs GTI (vs WRX) video the GTI won and you saw the amount of negative comments the Sonata N Line driver copped.
This is why I feel your videos aren’t trustworthy results & everything seems all over the place, you need better more proffessional drivers or someone who knows how to shift a car at the right rpm, alot of the drivers in your videos are amatuers, surely you have the budget now to hire someone to race.
And obviously you need to turn on the NGS in the Elantra N when you drag race, that’s the whole point of drag racing, is to put your car at its maximum potential not because people get “obsessed over it”
But anyway that’s just my 2c
Probably the best comment I’ve read on this channel. Head in the sand approach isn’t ideal when people see glaringly obvious flaws .
The black guy is driving more better than the other one.
Imagine having twice the cyclinders and more than twice the displacement. And you are getting stomped.....by an economy car. Imagine if the Japanese or Koreans built a 5.7L V8 and stuffed it in a car.....

imagine the tear in the driver's eye , as he realizes he's sacked up on a 392 Daytona and proceeds to feast at GApplebee's
What is NGS? Is it simply overboost for a short period of time?
Yes 20
Seconds
And extra power
@revving_four I said the same thing it's nothing against Sam and he doesn't race in the right modes either half of the time
@revving_four no sam just isnt a good driver, we know this lol
If they actually launched the N properly it would have beat the charger every time. I've learned to do quicker runs without launch control. That charger sounds sick though.
@@slimv3.162 100% agree with you
@revving_four yes, I watched the whole video.
