Thank you! What you say echoes the immortal words of John Keats, "'Beauty is Truth, Truth Beauty.' - that is all / Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know."

Thank you! Your recognizing it as a "human song" means so much. The song reaches out emotionally and touches the heart even as the lyric says in the midst of such pain no words and melody can make any difference. And yet they do...

Thank you! To be a "song of healing" is a great thing. Albert Camus said, "There is but one truly serious philosophical problem and that is suicide. Judging whether life is or is not worth living amounts to answering the fundamental question of philosophy." He also said, “In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger - something better, pushing right back.” I think this great philosopher and author would agree that "It's never too late to be alive again."

The sensibility of the lyrics gives voice to the heartache of losing a loved one by suicide. It is a beautiful song that is not one note, addressing the full range of emotions one may feels and still encouraging to live again to the fullest. The message is beautifully brought home by the singer’s voice. It is a wonderful song.

Oh! Thank you so very much for what you said as that is what the song hopes to impart. There is no denying the depths of sorrow and yet there is a reality that can honor the pain and also encourage us to live and love again. I agree with you about Brittany, the singer. She has emotion in her voice which makes the song even more powerful and meaningful.
