Love all of you! Keep up the great work! Was awesome having you on the podcast!
Thank you, Kino! I look forward to all the wonderful work we will do together.
A beautiful and powerful song of hope and healing for those broken-hearted by grief and loss - the words so authentic it reaches the soul in a deep way. Thank you for your vision and all the ways hope & healing is offered through the Hold on Campaign for Suicide Prevention; through your poetry and co-created songs.
Thank you, Karen! To reach out to someone who is pain through the power of art to inspire hope and healing is the mission of the Hold On Campaign for Suicide Prevention. It is so fulfilling to know you experienced "My Crying Song for You" to be "beautiful, powerful, authentic" and that it "reaches the soul in a deep way."
I am so proud of all the work done by the Hold on Campaign! This song hits different - so emotional right now!
Thank you, Kino! The song expresses the overwhelming pain of losing a loved one to suicide and yet at the same time caringly encourages hope for life and love again for that suicide loss survivor. I would like this song to be heard around the world.
Love the song 🙏♥️♥️🎤🎸♥️🌟♥️🌟♥️🌟⭐️💫
This is a beautiful & moving song. I appreciate how you share comfort and hope to those who are hurting. Thank you for the love that you share.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, the Hold On Campaign for Suicide Prevention wants to offer "comfort" and give "hope and love" to those in pain. I am so glad you felt "My Crying Song for You" was "beautiful and moving."
Just beautiful. Comforting and honest, refreshingly truthful. Thank you!
Thank you! What you say echoes the immortal words of John Keats, "'Beauty is Truth, Truth Beauty.' - that is all / Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know."
What a human song. Every word is heartfelt. May it help heal those who have lost someone this way. Thank you for your work and congratulations to everyone involved.
Thank you! Your recognizing it as a "human song" means so much. The song reaches out emotionally and touches the heart even as the lyric says in the midst of such pain no words and melody can make any difference. And yet they do...
The sensibility of the lyrics gives voice to the heartache of losing a loved one by suicide. It is a beautiful song that is not one note, addressing the full range of emotions one may feels and still encouraging to live again to the fullest. The message is beautifully brought home by the singer’s voice. It is a wonderful song.
Oh! Thank you so very much for what you said as that is what the song hopes to impart. There is no denying the depths of sorrow and yet there is a reality that can honor the pain and also encourage us to live and love again. I agree with you about Brittany, the singer. She has emotion in her voice which makes the song even more powerful and meaningful.
"It's never too late to be alive again," A song of healing. Thank you.
Thank you! To be a "song of healing" is a great thing. Albert Camus said, "There is but one truly serious philosophical problem and that is suicide. Judging whether life is or is not worth living amounts to answering the fundamental question of philosophy." He also said, “In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger - something better, pushing right back.” I think this great philosopher and author would agree that "It's never too late to be alive again."
Such a heartfelt song with the lyrics deeply touching the soul, tapping into the tears of grief while conveying hope to keep going to find the light. Thank you for sharing this song, Diana. Such a gift to the world, you and this song.
Thank you so much, Karen, for your kind words. I so hope "My Crying Song for You" can be widely shared so it can help bring healing to grieving hearts, especially those whose loved one died by suicide.
These lyrics just continue to deepen with every listen. So much truth we usually have a difficult time expressing - particularly the line about wanting to hide in the pain and secret it away. Such unique and accurate wording to describe what we go through when we face the loss of someone. Thank you, Diana. When so many of us struggle to find the right words, you consistently share love and light through your artistry - including this beautiful, powerful song.
Thank you, Annabel. Poetry is a language of music and depth of emotion that goes straight to the heart.
This is a very beautiful song Diana, me and Hannah like it very much, thank you for writing and sharing this. The lyrics and melody are very touching <3
Thank you, Shan and Hannah. I am so very glad you found the song to be "very beautiful." I hope the song can bring compassion and hope to those grieving the loss of their loved one who died by suicide. That loss, which can feel excrutiating and unbearable, can increase risk of suicide in the griever. The arts I feel have an important role to play in helping broken hearts to heal.
This is beautiful. ❤
Thank you Phoenix Rising. It is so meaningful for me to have you say the song is "beautiful." I am glad "My Crying Song for You" touched your heart.
Such a beautiful song…love & grief …2 strongest emotions. Love this ♥️
Many thanks to you for "loving" "My Crying Song for You" and finding it "beautiful." On the Hold On Campaign for Suicide Prevention website (www.holdoncampaign.org) it says, "Inspiring Beauty from Darkness." I feel this song through its words, music, and emotion has been able to do just that. It is healing for me just as it is for others.
A beautiful touching song that describes love and grief.
Thank you, Yvonne. I am so grateful that "My Crying Song for You" in all its words, music, and emotion can be of help to those grieving their lost loved ones.
Great song. Let's all pray to believe
Thank you, Lucia! And thank you, too, for your beautiful animation of "Pray to Believe," a song that can help save lives.
This is so beautiful. Thank you for all of the incredible work you do!
Thank you, Lisa! The "Let Go" video is being added to the Hold On Campaign for Suicide Prevention website in the Create Resilience section. www.holdoncampaign.org.

What a heart-touching song...beautiful voice and melody - bringing solace to the heart that is navigating grief and loss.
Thank you, Karen. I am so glad the song has touched your heart. "Bringing solace to the heart that is navigating grief and loss" is what "For You My Lovely" is meant to do.
The beauty of the video enhances the experience of this song.
Thank you, Starlit. Lucia's animation truly added to the beauty of the song.
“Into the iridescent morning” and “I feel your love in the wind,” are delicate words that bring solace when needed most, sang by a beautiful voice and carried by an engaging melody.
To give comfort within the deep sadness of loss is the desire of "For You My Lovely." I am so very glad, Starlit, the song moves you this way.
This song touched my heart. Thank you for bringing it to the world!
Thank you, Lucia, for your beautiful animation of "For You My Lovely."
I needed this right now. It is helping me through a hard time. Love it. 🙏
I am so very glad "Lift You Up" is helping you through "a hard time." That's exactly what I hoped the song could do. Please also see www.holdoncampaign.org which is all about the power of art to connect, express, and heal. I have three more songs inspired by my poems to lyrics, "Don't Give Up," "Hold On," and "Holding The Heart When It Breaks" and perhaps they can be of help, too. Warmly, Diane Kaufman, MD
Beautifully simple yet powerful message about grief and loss. This is so well done. We love you Kellen forever ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing how "Let Go" impacted you. When I heard Jodee's poem and saw her drawing, I knew it would make for a powerful animation with a heartfelt and healing message.
Thank you so much for bringing my poem to life, I was very emotional while watching it! I know Kellen is smiling down and embracing all of you!
Jodee, thank you for allowing us the privilege of sharing your poem and drawing, I know "Let Go" will touch the hearts of so many others.
That means the world to us! Wishing you all the best
Wonderful poem! Loved being part of this project.
Thank you, Lucia, for your wonderful animation of Jodee's heartfelt "Let Go" poem and drawing. The Hold On Campaign for Suicide Prevention sincerely believes the "Let Go" poem animation offers hope and healing for many who have experienced extreme loss.
thank you
Thank you
Thank you
I love this song 🎵 ❤️
❤❤❤
Oh my goodness, this brings tears to my eyes - starting with the beautiful message/story of how the song came to be, and then the song. What an amazing work of art and one that many (likely us all at certain points) can certainly relate to in life, and maybe more now than ever after Covid and the transition back. Again, truly amazing and this song is just beautiful.
Thank you, Jill. I am so very glad "Hold On" touched you so deeply. If we can just help a person to "hold on" even in the midst of emotional pain, knowing that feelings do pass, and the intense despair of that pain can lift, lives can be saved.
The song has a gentle quality that reaches into your heart, and there it whispers, “Hold on, hold on.”
Thank you, Starlit. As philosopher Blaise Pascal said, "The heart has its reasons of which reason knows nothing."
🥰🥰🙏🏾
Thank you, Shan, for your empathic singer-songwriter artistry in transforming my poem to such a powerful and meaningful song.
🌼Empowering🌼
Very nice lyrics and harmony. A much needed and meaningful piece of music.
There will always be a special place in my heart for "Lift You Up"
"Lift You Up" means so much to me. Thank you Diane for letting me be a part of this experience with you. 🙂
This project meant so much to me when working on it. This song lifted my dad up when he was in the ICU as soon as we finished the song.🙏
It was a pleasure to work on this project with you Diane. I know "Lift You Up" will help others as it did a few people I know.
Yeah whatever it's pointless to live in this evil world. Never will be loved as my said after she poisoned me with anti-freeze I'm a accident should have never been born and never amount to anything.
There is plenty that is "evil" in this world and it can be a real struggle to find any point in living. Sometimes, I find, it can help to do whatever I can to bring some "love" into the world - not love as a feeling but love as an action - no matter how small or insignificant that may be - so the balance of evil and good turns towards more to the good. Everyday is suicide prevention day. Please take care of yourself and may you grow ever stronger in your love.
YHWH bless you!
Thank you so much, and may YHWH bless you and yours as well...
Powerful words!
Thank you so much Pasha Pernell. "Lift You Up" is meant to offer understanding, and to inspire and empower us to ask for help when help is what we need. Love is its healing message.
