That "little pink area" in Eastern Iowa is right between Dubuque, Waterloo, and Cedar Rapids metro. We've already had enough nationally significant wind and hail storms in the last few years thanks.

Like I'm not wishing for severe weather, but this month seems to be more active than it used to be. I remember April and early May being stormy when I was little. Now it seems they start up much sooner.
I just hear good rain is possible to come. That last storm front gave us a little bit of rain, as I expected it to.

FYI: New Mexico is directly to the west of Texas and if you look at the map you're showing, you will see that the weather you're speaking of starts there.
This Texan just believes that New Mexico should be mentioned in weather forecasts as well.
I have noticed routinely and consistently that New Mexico is left out of weather reports regardless of who is giving the report. And that should not be. Please consider including New Mexico in your weather reports.

Thanks max for the weather updates following from South Louisiana
They are eyeing some areas for at least a Marginal Risk of severe weather from Wednesday through Saturday. On Wednesday, they fully expect just a Marginal Risk for Florida and parts of the East Coast, likely for damaging winds, maybe for hail and/or a tornado or two.
Then on Thursday, they are looking at parts of Texas and Oklahoma for a Marginal Risk, followed by central and east Texas and the lower Mississippi Valley on Friday, and then finally the Southeast on Saturday.

Hopefully I get lucky with that storm track on March 10 being a decent snowstorm in southern Ontario because the average amount of snow that I was supposed to be at right now is literally 2 times less than where it should actually be at right now. But thanks for the update info Max like so.

I know I sound like a broken record but since those tornado outbreaks in Tennessee a few months ago this truck does not crank up it's engine until we watch Max weather channel to give us an idea of what we are in for as for the days weather. I've deleted the weather channel completely because it is ABSOLUTELY USELESS.
