Also, gotta love "be careful when you mock poor people, maybe they were normal and then their family died". Dhar Mann does terrible lessons. The kid with no money doesn't need a tragic backstory to deserve to not be mocked.
I straight up work as a house cleaner, the point of this video shouldn’t have been ‘treat workers with respect cause you don’t know if they have a tragic backstory’ it should just be treat workers with respect because they’re human beings doing a service??? Like no matter if you work hospitality, retail or manual labour you shouldn’t have to be a sudden orphan to be treated with basic human decency
i worked at a daycare last year and a summer camp this year and good lord the parents were infuriating and didn’t appreciate what we did for their kids and they were so obnoxious
Dhar Mann is notorious for backwards logic. One of the videos that really hurt me as a fat person was him making a video about a wife that puts on weight and her husband cheats on her and leaves her for the woman he had an affair with because she “let herself go and got fat.” After he left her, she lost the weight. The woman he had an affair with cheated on him. He let himself go and got fat. They ran into each other and he asked to get back together. She threw the fact that he was fat in his face “epic burn style” and left with her new boyfriend who was cut by the hand of the gods. So the message remained, if you’re fat it’s a bad thing.
I feel like the downfall of dhar Mann bingo will be the chat. It started out fun but now it seems more like a constant debate like seriously people need to chill. I feel bad for jarvis constantly having to argue things, it must be really tiring. As much as I love the concept, it's just getting boring watching a bunch of so called fans arguing over every detail. Literally one of the rules is that jarvis has the last say so can we just leave it at that.
Jarvis was extremely lenient with the Bingo calls today. That “child” with unrealistic emotional maturity is a teenager with age-appropriate emotional maturity. And saying PS5 never qualified for a bingo call in the past, it had to be in the shot, which made sense You guys are breaking this man down
@@hungryhedgehog4201 true but I feel like he would've at least changed his tone/taken a deep breath/made some sign of repressing his anger when talking to the son. Like, the mum wasn't around when he snatched the pizza out of his hands Might be more of an acting issue than a character issue, though
It’s such a cornerstone of dhar man videos, everyone has to be the perfect victim. If you bully someone, they have to be wrong because they actually have a tragic backstory AND are only ever wronged without ever standing up for themselves. They can’t just be people who should be treated with respect bc they’re….people
@@sofastuffingDefinitely more of a character/writing issue. All I saw was a 16 year old kid acting like a p**sy because he can’t stand up for himself in the most bare minimum kind of way. All he had to do was say “Your mom said that I could grab a slice” and it would’ve been done, but no. He gets told by another kid that he can’t have any of the pizza and he goes, “Oh, you’re right. I should’ve asked first. I’m sorry.” That isn’t emotional maturity. That’s being a b**ch. I wouldn’t show this kid any respect either because he clearly doesn’t deserve any or want any in the first place. He’s clearly a professional, perpetual victim, and that’s a character/writing problem.
1:11 thank you jarvis, the autism one literally says that he's not disabled, he's differently abled (throws up) and the whole plot is that he should be respected because he's smart (despite not all autistic people being smart which is ok). the cop ones are also always a mess because it's like: bad cop does bad thing, "good" cop is related to someone in the situation, and bad cop gets in trouble, leaving "good" cop the hero of the story
Good lord chat is ridiculous. Idk how you keep your cool, man. You are a saint. It's flipping bingo, you dont ask the bingo caller 20 questions, let them call stuff out and relax.
It’s super annoying, like if you were at bingo somewhere and they call out B7 and someone is like “O54??? Is it O54???? Wasn’t that O54???? I’m pretty sure that was O54!!!” 😂
I’ve worked at a pizzeria and I can say that the pizza box is probably the most accurate prop I’ve seen in one of these. It’s more cost efficient for a lot of smaller pizza places to get generic looking pizza boxes and it’s pretty common
It's similar to how small shops or restaurants will also have generic plastic / paper bags that are either blank or say "Thank you". Bakery / panderia boxes are also usually blank, even though large chains will have print on theirs.
Dhar Mann does not handle nuruodivergency well at all, he calls disabilities "special abilities" and "it's not disabled, it's differently abled", from an autistic and disabled person, we have it.
Ikr? Disabled isn't a dirty word. I think people uneducated in that area think that they should avoid the word disabled but in reality that's just insulting to disabled people because disabled isn't a bad word to be avoided. I'm also Autistic btw and man the way people like Dhar Mann talk about disabilities is pretty terrible tbh.

I think what gets me about him adding things like that tragedy is that... regardless of if someone has been through tragedy or not you should still be empathetic and not terrible to people?
Dhar Mann generally perpetuates the notion that to be deserving of sympathy a person must be 1) tragic and 2) perfectly mature and forgiving and never do anything wrong in their lives
The chat made me so irrationally irritated, I wish people would just LISTEN instead of getting stuck on every little thing 😩😩 if you don't know a chat or a stream's dynamics, just sit back and watch what others do until you get it!

I kinda disagree, the message is be nice because you don't know their situation in life and how hard it is.but the people who arent either don't care,or don't know,so dhar mann believes that putting them in that situation , giving them that information,or proving them wrong would give them them the empathy to not treat people like that.
@@celestialcreeper8736 but the point is you shouldnt have to be privy to someone's depressing backstory to have that empathy. If you don't care fine but why be less of an asshole when now you know when you could've been normal from the beginning

How did this go to a pool kid being bullied to an orphan kid who lost his parents like a month ago being bullied. So much for keeping it light hearted Jarvis. Dhar Mann pranked us all.
how has so many people in the chat never played bingo before in their lives. you don't just argue stuff and try to call it yourself, the bingo caller calls it and everyone else quietly plays. that's how bingo works. it's getting to the point where 10% of the talking is actual commentary on the video and the rest is just arguing with chat over the bingo squares. :/
Exactly. It's making it harder and harder to watch, as someone not even joining the streams but watching the VODs. I feel like I'm pulling my hair out at times cause it feels like he's that one under-qualified teacher trying to wrangle up 20 kindergartners. Which I kinda know what that's like cause I used to volunteer for my local library and they had programs for toddlers and little kids and my god does it feel like this.
it feels like the chat are actual old people playing bingo getting confused and very cranky with Jarvis istg😭 he needs to tell them “ok grandma let’s get you back to bed” to whoever said “but who cares” edit: I did a fucky and said the comments instead of chat,, maybe I am a geriatric gay after all 😔✊
I honestly appreciate you skipping over the Autism video as someone with Autism, I've been burnt out trying to relax and it keeps coming up in random videos where the creator isn't prepared to approach the subject with research or kindness or the content they're reacting to is still so uncomfortable to sit through. I do think Jarvis would respect the subject, but sometimes the content being reacted to can be hard to watch.
As another autistic person, I kinda want Jarvis to go all in on those videos. They make me kinda angry tbf with how Dhar treats such subject matter. The one I saw YourMovieSucks and SomeOrdinaryGamers react to is just very ridiculous, especially with how the autistic characters are portrayed, and aren’t very... relatable I guess you could say, like how they don’t focus on the socially awkward/anxious aspect of being autistic.
Not autistic but my husband is. We would also kinda like Jarvis to react but maybe not on a stream. Maybe he could make a commentary video that way he could cut out some of the really triggering stuff
Jarvis: innocently laughs at the chat joke about the kids leg being messed up from hanging Christmas lights. Also Jarvis: instantly thinks he's going to hell once the real reason is revealed.
Ooof.... I work in mental health. Sometimes, kids have been through a lot of trauma from a very young age. I don't need to detail anything I've seen in my clients, but trust me it's like.... a lot. I HATE the trope that kids who've been through trauma are these mature, generous, wise beyond their years little saints. The reality of it is kids who have been through trauma will often have a lot of anger and behavioral issues. Sometimes they get into fights or curse people out. The reality of childhood trauma is the kids aren't always easy to deal with, and it's important to still have empathy for them. So trying to write a story where they're just perfect tools to teach rich kids a morality lesson is cheap, cliche, and even damaging.
That ending is nuts. Guys, a PS5 is gonna take at least a half hour to set up, only comes with one controller, and probably doesnt have any games. Downloading and installing, depending on the game and internet connection at grandma's place could take upwards of a couple hours. Come back tomorrow my guy lol also bring games
Also grandma most likely got talked into getting an expensive as shit, slow internet setup so maybe come back in 2 days my guy, but don't forget to bring those games though.

Chat is just infuriating, wow. Like who cares that much about a 1.5 second clip being sped up the slightest bit - that did not need to go on for multiple minutes 😭😭 Jarvis you can ignore chat if they’re just being annoying 😭😭
I want to like this series but it's difficult with chat arguing over every damn thing. I wish they'd chill out and let him call it, he knows the rules.

i decided to watch the autism one that wasn't covered simply because I'm autistic and im usually very critical of autistic representation but the video surprisingly wasn't handled too terribly. it was definitely tacky and had ableist insults and followed the generic "autistic kid is excluded and then once included, shows up their peers" story line. other than that it is actually kinda relatable and it pains me to say it LMAO
I find plot lines where the autistic person has to be exceptional at something to be accepted kind of awful tbh. Like, there are plenty of average people out there. It’s like being expected to “make up for” yourself in a way. Kills the whole message

at a certain point i feel like people need to be booted from streams if they can't follow basic rules. like there's a rule that you can't @ jarvis in the chat for a reason; that's what redeeming a msg highlight is for. and it's hard to tell if people are asking for square calls as a joke (like time skip) or if they're just being intentionally dense. people like this are why i can't watch twitch in real time, it's so obnoxious lmao
Tbh his mom should have just given his PS5 to Adam/the kid with the job, and told him he could work to pay for it himself. Or at least made him pay for half of it and matched the other half of the price, idk. Idk, maybe I'm too strict, but if my kid acted like that* they'd be doing a lot more sustained chores around the house from now on. *it's a moot point because IRL kids don't act quite as cartoonishly bad as that, but
i agree definitely. spoiled ass gets away with doing work but gets some extra pocket change, and poor kid has the same situation from before. I would give the poor kid the ps5, so all the hard work from before is extra for him to do what he chooses with. I would have spoiled ass do the same chores as consequences in which there are not rewards for. I’d maybe start paying him if I felt he had genuinely started learning the value of work/
I love having the chat on the screen, I love reading what everyone is saying. Makes me feel less crazy when I was like "enemies to lovers?" at the end, just to see everyone else in the chat saying the same thing
I appreciate that Jarvis is sensitive against calling abused children "unrealistically emotionally mature" because he knows that growing up from being traumatized is inherently different to children who are just weirdly and unnaturally mature in media. I'm hardly mature in my mid-twenties, but people often misinterpreted my trauma responses, silence, and acceptance for maturity as a child, which they weren't.
I love these streams but so many people in the chat are so annoying. I wish jarvis would just not respond sometimes. It makes the video take so much longer too. Idk how jarvis deals with it. I'd be so frustrated
As someone who also has ADHD, I 100% understand why Jarvis has to keep going back and replaying the vid. The chat is extremely distracting and it's really hard to focus on anything in the video when everyone is yelling lol, i can't focus with 5000 people talking at me all at once. Also, the people in the chat are the REASON he has to replay a million times. Then those same people get SO mad at him for replaying it when it's their fault in the 1st place.
Adam’s little brother has such Tiny Tim energy. If Dharr Mann ever produces his version of ‘A Christmas Carol,’ it would be the most amazing thing to hit TH-cam
wait so this kid's parents perished in a car accident a month ago and he just immediately went to work as a pool boy for a demon child and his mother to save money for a game console for the younger brother who was the only survivor of said accident... the story board for this one was a sight to see i'm sure.
I think adding so many different spaces in the bingo was a mistake, the chat was already shitty as it was, now they keep trying to find something to mark every 10 seconds. Jarvis can’t even watch the video Edit: Oh he mentions that on the video, nice
When he told him not to worry about the present I honestly thought the rich kids was going to say, “I wouldn’t want anything you could give me anyways.”
My boss recently assaulted me at work been in and out of HR meetings all day, having to say what happened over and over. This vid has kept me going. It's 9:30 in Aus and I'm 42 mins in. Looking forward to ending my night with bingo!

So the message remained, if you’re fat it’s a bad thing.
being nice to house cleaners isnt hard lol
I’m beginning to think people watch his stream on mute and just type different bingo tile names in the chat at random
Literally the chat is constantly stressed about everything lol
God, what a great way to describe that chaos.

And saying PS5 never qualified for a bingo call in the past, it had to be in the shot, which made sense

Might be more of an acting issue than a character issue, though
1:11 thank you jarvis, the autism one literally says that he's not disabled, he's differently abled (throws up) and the whole plot is that he should be respected because he's smart (despite not all autistic people being smart which is ok). the cop ones are also always a mess because it's like: bad cop does bad thing, "good" cop is related to someone in the situation, and bad cop gets in trouble, leaving "good" cop the hero of the story
dhar mann has like 4 autism ones and i’m too afraid to come near them
Gross. I'm autistic and I was so grateful he didn't watch it. I was there during the stream and wasn't emotionally prepared.
That video is literally the most ablest thing while simultaneously being about ableism

I’ve worked at a pizzeria and I can say that the pizza box is probably the most accurate prop I’ve seen in one of these. It’s more cost efficient for a lot of smaller pizza places to get generic looking pizza boxes and it’s pretty common
What's your opinion on the actual pizza, though? :P
@@TheZombifiedGuy my question is how u got zombified?
yeah we literally ordered white pizza boxes and stickers and then while we folded them we'd put the stickers on ourselves.
It's similar to how small shops or restaurants will also have generic plastic / paper bags that are either blank or say "Thank you". Bakery / panderia boxes are also usually blank, even though large chains will have print on theirs.
Please I just wanna know how they got zombified
Dhar Mann does not handle nuruodivergency well at all, he calls disabilities "special abilities" and "it's not disabled, it's differently abled", from an autistic and disabled person, we have it.
Ikr? Disabled isn't a dirty word. I think people uneducated in that area think that they should avoid the word disabled but in reality that's just insulting to disabled people because disabled isn't a bad word to be avoided. I kinda disagree, the message is be nice because you don't know their situation in life and how hard it is.but the people who arent either don't care,or don't know,so dhar mann believes that putting them in that situation , giving them that information,or proving them wrong would give them them the empathy to not treat people like that.
