I also think long tricks can be weak. You familiar with Asi Wind’s acaan or the Berglas effect? If so, what do you think? It’s something I’ve been working on. The simplicity of it is beautiful to me.
Thanks for this man, hecklers have always been an issue for me, im just recently getting really into street magic, fair/carnival magic, etc. I appreciate this advice!!
You're really amazing, man! i've been watching you for a week and you can't imagine how im impressed that a single guy can master so much things. And im especially appreciate all tips, opinions and advices that you're sharing to beginner street magicians.
nice video the force of a card is basically what you said at 4:47 but worked into a trick rather than spoken neither i dont believe myself or Chris Ramsay would actually condone doing it in an offensive way
Yoooooooo Matthew! Where have you been? Practicing I’m sure! Would you be kind enough to bless your fans with a new video? It’s sure to be a real hot one!
Good comments. I do not get very much heckling. However, you have made some good points. Ignore is good. Make sure your Magic is good is another. One point I would like to add. I have some heckler proof Magic for Strolling that I do to test a group or spectator. That means Magic that can be examined. If I am getting little reaction or a heckler or someone I know just wants to figure out how things are done, I smile and move on. I know it is hard to believe but not everyone likes Magic.
@@MatthewFurman Yes. So true. Like you, I have found that the more experience I have the less it happens. To me, it has more to do with knowing what Material and effects to do for the right situation. Cheers!
@@MatthewFurman I agree totally because it has happened to me. I was at a restaurant and a father was with his son. I approached and could tell he was rolling his eyes, like oh no another boring Magic trick. At the end, his eyes widened and he said, "Can I have your Business Card!"

TBH, I don’t like the effect. Big deal, the card is at the named number. Seems weak to me. Just my opinion

Well said Vincent. You are right. The sad reason why someone doesn’t like magic is because they have seen a bad magician.

@@vincentlem2534 I like it, converting magic haters to fans, one at a time.
@@vincentlem2534 definitely, choice of tricks is very important
