I have an escape artist horse,he can undo any knots that I tried when I tie him on a post.

First one is a Highwayman Hitch. Useful knot. The others are called Hatchet knots because you’ll need a hatchet to undo them after they’ve been pulled on. Try pottery.

Highway hitch for me is useless as it collapses under heavy strain, if I have to use it I will use a full round turn on the loop formed by the slip.

First one is actually a Painter's Hitch. Both of these hitches dress similarly, but the Highwayman Hitch has the slip and working end sitting parallel to the standing end while the Painter's Hitch is perpendicular.

Первый узел заинтересовал. Но как оказалось он не всегда подходит.
ТОЛЬКО в том случае если база м о н о л и т н а я.
Если она составная, скажем петля охватывает 2 балки - узел развязывается при натяжении.
Т.е. скажем вытащить глубоко сидящую палету из кузова грузовика не проканает.

Мало того он его еще и неправильно завязал... Нет оборота вокруг коренного конца!
Его узел опасен!
