That’s a very clean looking knot. It’s has problems. It’s about 80% looks and 20% functional.
Instead of using only a loop to go around your swivel, use a full round turn. A round turn takes the load off of the knot itself and isolates it to the rope. The last tuck you did is only for looks and it’s only functional purpose is to hideaway the tag end, which is fine. I like that. It’s just visually deceiving. It looks like you have 2 wraps around your swivel, but in reality you only have one.
Use the round turn. It will look like 3 wraps using your same technique but in reality you’ll have a true double wrap around the swivel.
The swivel will break before the knot.
Admirable clarity there, rare in knotnerds. I actually understand what you mean.
I believe your suggestion is sound. It seems many people don't understand this knot's purpose which I believe to be as the termination for a shackle on a lead rope or leash. You suggestion reduces the load and wear at the shackle.
@@JoeLinux2000 The rope and hardware, as long as we don’t exceed the limits of either, is out of our handling control. The knot is on us. If we tie our knots correctly, it should not be the weakest link. That’s on us if it is. Little things like round turns, or an extra safety half hitch, etc. can make all the difference. Easy insurance.

el problema es que cuando aprenda cómo soltarse lo hará enseguida. Y un mecanismo tipo bidón colgado agujereado con agua, y un peso al otro extremo de la cuerda? Al caer el peso tira de una cuerda que deshace el nudo
