The Boas are less aggressive than other snakes but this one was putting up a bit of a fight. If you watch closely she was trying to bite me a couple of times as I was walking up the hill and I had to put her down to readjust my grip. They are quite strong. The one in the video is the non-native boa constrictor introduced here in the 90s I would have left it alone had it been the native Puerto Rican Boa.
Why did it just let you handle it? Was it pretty docile or what?
