Me liek banana
If you have a head gasket problem then changing the thermostat is a must. If it got hot you may as well overhaul the engine. It may run good for a while then the rings lose their temper , and about ten thousand miles later it will smoke.
I didn't have a head gasket problem. I had an oil leak and cylinder 3 misfire problem and took the heads off to diagnose it and check the health of my engine.
What type of variety is this?
I believe it is a Cavendish banana.
In case, i can see the banana flower when it started
So…. It’s been two years… how’s she holding up? Any updates?
She's holding up well. Had a few issues unrelated to the work I did in the videos. A busted coolant hose that was easy to fix, and the original alternator finally died after 24 years of service. I did both of those repairs myself. I filmed the alternator repair, so I plan to upload that sometime in the near future. Aside from that, she's been running like a champ.
@@ColoradicalMike Nice! I’m currently in the middle of my own head gasket replacement on a 2002 3.0… actually, I’m doing it for the second time, kinda. First time I just did a slap job… bolted the head on, threw on the timing belt, and checked the compression. Unfortunately only about 120psi in 1 and 3, 150 in 5, while 2, 4, and 6 all have 170+ So I took it back off today, pulled all the valves out, and tomorrow I’m lapping them and doing the sandpaper on glass trick to hopefully get a flatter surface and better compression! I don’t plan to touch the driver side at all.
Genius❣️
Here's the equipment I used to make this if you want to check it out. These affiliate links help with supporting the channel. Thanks for watching! So yummy!
So much good stuff to make with those.
I never knew the pods were so big.
They can get much larger than this.
Hey, nice Pineapples 🍍 Hope yall are doing well. That Rollinia looked great.
Thanks. All is well here. We hope the same for you!
Opening this video like "My fellow Americans, I did not have....😅"
😂😂😂 Accurate
Very nice💛
Thank you
Cool❤
Thanks 💕
They can be nasty. They will chase you if you disturb the next.
Those will light you up quick😅 🔥 🐝
Yes, they will. I've already experienced that. Lol. One heck of a painful sting!
Can you compress biogas???
Yes, you can, though I've heard that it is hard to get a good ratio of uncompressed volume to compressed volume, so not many do it unless you can get high enough pressures to liquify it like how they store propane.
did you just only use soapy water and brushes to clean the outer blocks or did you use more things?
Just soapy water, rags, copper brushes, time, and effort. A good dish soap works great as a degreaser.
Somebody is greedy.
I want to buy 1.
Fantastic work. Glad you showed your mistakes and how to fix them. You can't put a price on self-esteem and it seems like all of us have a lot more after watching your series.
Thank you! True words. Confidence is key.
thank you so much rilly help me alot.
You're welcome, happy to help!
I really congratulate you for the video! But I wanted to ask you something that I have not yet been able to activate and I hope that you have that function in your car and can help me. It's the wheel speed display!! On the central screen of the computer a function appears where the 4 wheels appear and some bars to indicate the speed of each wheel, I don't know if it is when it is in 4x4 or locked but it doesn't work for me in any way. Could it be that you also have that function in your car? I know this video is old but I hope you read me and can help me🙏🙏, since you know a lot about how to repair that specific car... which is the same as mine. greetings Pd: There is nothing about that topic on google, if you need to see a photo about what im talking , let me know to send you the link
I don't think my model has the speed indicators. Mine has the 4 wheel display, but it only indicates whether or not 4 wheel drive is engaged.
Amazing job man!👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Sorry, I couldn't understand what torque you used to tighten the valve cover with the blue gasket. Thanks Pd: The subtitles say 4 newtons... but I need to be sure
Yep it's 4 N-m.
WHAT A AMAZING JOB AND VIDEO!!!👏🏻👏🏻 Perfect for me I have the same engine 6g74 Thanks
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Couple questions. Does it have a bad smell. Like are the neighbors going to complain? And does it only work in more warmer climates? We have relatively hard winters where I live.
The smell is like the smell of manure. It's only noticeable when you open it to feed it. The smell dissipates quickly the further you get from it, so unless your neighbors are really close, I don't think they'd notice. For colder climates, it's recommended to put it in a greenhouse to keep the temp up. If it falls too low, your gas production will stop.
@@ColoradicalMikethanks so much for the info!
please how do we empty the homebiogas;
Arw the headbolts reusable? Nice video
It's not recommended to reuse them.
It is so good to see someone set this up. I have been a little concerned if I could do it myself. I am 68 but I see that I can!!!! Thank you!! Miss Bonnie
Thanks, and you're welcome! Best of luck to you. You've got this. Though, if you can find someone to help, it wouldn't hurt.
when you finish doing your business can you use toilet paper 🧻?
I believe small amounts of toilet paper are fine. I use a bidet for that, so I haven't tested it. It's like a septic tank, which can usually decompose toilet paper, so I don't see why you couldn't.
Was it just one bucket of effluent that you used to activate it?
No, it was about 5 buckets or 25 gallons worth.
hey dude i have same car would you all the head job on mine?
I wouldn't have the time, sorry. You can do it yourself. Just believe in yourself. You've got this.
You are a good youtuber man. Thanks
You're welcome, and thanks! I appreciate the support!
Can you use fish wastes or fish remains into a biogas bag? or just fruits and vegetable wastes?
Yes, you may, but you will still want to use a variety of organic waste. The bacteria that make the methane need a balanced diet for optimal performance.
I'm about to work on my 98 Montero known as a Nativa in Puerto Rico which looks like where you at in the video 😅. I live in PR and all the background noises and ppl talking spanish were so curious to me. Great videos
Nice. Good luck, and may all go well with your repair. Glad you liked the videos and thanks for your support!
Hey what is the torq on the exaughst manifold?
Hi, 44 N-m or 33 ft-lb.
Great job, why there's no sand or gravel
The concrete I used was pre-mixed and already had the sand and gravel mixed in with cement.
I would like to buy a similar one please share the link for the purchase order or the factory address link
Link is in the video's description, cheers!
they aint sleepin anymore LOL
Where exactly is the crankshaft sensor?
Looking from the front of the engine, it is behind the crankshaft pulley and just above and to the left of the crankshaft timing gear. The cable is routed behind the accessory bracket and plugs into a terminal attached to the metal coolant pipe on top of the engine in the middle. The terminal and wire are visible without taking anything apart, but you need to remove the accessories (alternator, fan, etc.), the accessory bracket, and the crankshaft pulley to get access to the sensor. I show replacing mine in a video later on in the series.
@@ColoradicalMike thank you!

Crazy!
can u do a video using them to clean water?
We plan to experiment with them for that purpose and when we do we'll record it.
Beautiful. For me, chickens have always been the most pleasant creatures to be around on the ranch. So silly and full of personality.
We agree!
