welcome back to another tumultuous episode of my condo/apartment makeover series! in this video I'm making a custom diy tv frame in the old victorian? louis the xiv? style?? to mimic the look of a samsung frame tv but using the amazon fire tv.

omg, i've been wanting to do EXACTLY this for like a year now , but my TV is not wall-mountable (lol) and it has like a thick frame round the screen that i'd like to cover up. but this turned out so cool and i'm so happy to see it be done since i've not gotten past the planning stage of the diy hahah

Thanks for sharing! I can’t wait to make my own. I have this same Amazon Omni qledtv but haven’t seen an option to have the white borders around the art. How did you get yours? Mine only shows a grey, navy, and black border that doesn’t look realistic at all.
Talented DIY - no question, however I think for your vibrant vibe and home a more modern "piece of art" rather than a landscape.

you shouldve added an outlet in the middle of the wall when you were doing the renovations tbh
if you put a matte screen protector on the tv it will help reduce the glare from the window and make it look even more like art
I think you should put a tall (real or fake) potted plant on the floor at the corner of the wall that faces the door, because otherwise every time you walk in your front door you will see the ugly space between the wall and the tv, since the door faces that wall perpendicularly.

Try to use some rub and buff on the gold metallic paint! It will make it look more vintage and aged. Looks so good!! ❤️❤️❤️

what image did you show, and how did you set-up your display, so it looked like a "frame image"?
Tv is too high. Within a couple of months, you are going to get chronic neck pain if you are an avid tv watcher
This is beautiful but if you have to look up while standing to see the TV, it is way too high.

Girl you're living like a rich person with all these DIYs. but you had drill issues in the beginning, you had drill issues at your sister's...I think by now you should get a drill that goes through brick. Our houses this side of the world are cement and brick so, you'll find that most people have that drill
