My girlfriend and I followed this for our new frame TV and it looks fantastic! Would recommend measuring for yourself, not just using theirs. Other than that, it was 1 trip to Lowe's for trim and a miter box. Awesome idea and super accessible for most anyone! Thanks for sharing!!
Love it! It blends right in! I also had my hubby do this but I went modern with the wood frame. Although, I didn’t use command strips. Ours just sits tightly on the frame because the hubby connected all four sides👍🏻
Looks great. I like the TV’s with the frames. I love the way you find beauty in everything you showcase. It’s important to be surrounded by things you love. ❤
I added a frame to the mirror in my apartment this way. Since I'm a renter it worked out really well. Adding a frame to a mirror absolutely elevates the space.
My goodness you have always had an eye for knowing what works and what doesn't. That is perfection. Love the coffee table. Always enjoyable watching your videos. And always love your style and taste in decor. Thank you for sharing..🦋💐🦋
Hi, I recently stumbled across your TH-cam and Instagram page and just want to thank you for taking the time to share your home improvement tips and tricks. As a renter, it brings me much joy knowing that I can make a home out of any space. Please keep posting your projects. I personally would love to see more renter friendly lighting solutions! Thank you!
That added the perfect finishing touch to the TV. The pictures all go so well together. Thanks so much for sharing. How was your big overseas vacation??
Love this DIY frame....turned out beautifully and seems so easy and inexpensive. I used to be obsessed with having a Samsung Frame TV to constantly display artwork on. I never ended up getting one but nowadays any TV can show artwork which is great bc the Frame has barely come down in price and there are so many better quality TV's out there for a fraction of the price. Look forward to making one of your frames very soon. Thanks for sharing your creativity as always. PS Your gallery wall looks great - really nice balance going on :)
Hi dear, quick question?? 😊 Could you tell me what TH-cam channels you watch for inspirations? Love your style and creativity❤ Thank you for your channel
No, we didn’t have to make a hole in the trim. We do end up having to point the remote slightly up because the sensor is at the bottom of the tv but it’s not a hassle at all.
I just LOVE how realistic your TV art looks! I know you have listed the Tv, but dang it looks so much like an actual piece of hanging wall art. Is this the same in person? Or is this how it shows up on camera? My smart tv has ''art'' but it also looks like art that is ON the television! It 100% would not fool anyone that it is a piece of wall art. I also love your channel! It's my happy place!
Thank you!!! I think it looks the same in person! and I think having it at just the right amount of exposure and warmth is key. I've used other art options and they don't look quite as realistic as this one though so it might just be the darker colors/moody hues that help!
@@PrettyinthePines oh yes it does! I've been playing around with my TV. I have a screensaver, not Tv ''art'' and it actually doens't look bad, it just constantly changes.. and also... displays the weather! I'm trying to find a way to just use one photo but i've adjusted the brightness and it's made it more ambient. If I did a frame like yours, it would look really beautiful! But I have to figure out how to get it out of random photo slideshow mode. I don't have samsung, just my own personal issues! Haha
What a great idea! So, does the diy frame not interfere with the signal from the remote? Since it covers up the little light up area at the bottom of the tv? This almost seems too good to be true!
I just found your channel and oh my, I am so glad I did. Love your style and creativity. I need to look at a room or photo to be able to copy it in my own space. Sadly, I have no imagination. 😔 LOL.... Thank you for sharing your lovely French inspired ideas. ~Joanna♡ NW Ohio
Yes! It is actually a picture I took of the hydrangeas and then used an app to make it look like an oil painting. I have digital downloads of this print on my Etsy shop - rstyle.me/+jekj39zag7f6lVB-hvb52A
I can’t find the link to the Wayfair trim. I’d love to do this. Command strips on a tv? Who would have thought to do that? Bet you can make frames like this for most flat TB’s, except the won’t have the screen look of this one.
So if I understand correctly, u didn't connect the 4 pieces together? U just adhered them to the Command Strips separately therefore making it look like a complete frame?? I'm wanting to do this too, but I'm a bit nervous abt the trim falling off. It looks fantastic!
And you don’t see gaps where the wood meets in the corners? I see most people use wood filler for the corners when making a TV frame, but your way is way less of an overwhelming project, which I love!
Just to let you know from an Optician's point of view, you should NEVER look up so high (or indeed down) when watching TV. It will cause neck problems over time and your eyes need to go just above eye-level when watching TV. You'll soon see what I mean, trust me.
We don’t have any molding on the side, but it is essentially blocked by other frames. The trim can be found here - rstyle.me/+EwbV7n1mFxg1vUGL-vXVLA For a 43 inch Frame TV, our measurements were 20.5 in vertically and 37 in horizontally. Make sure you measure and cut on the inside of the trim.
You should definitely lead with ""we already have a Samsung frame tv" otherwise out of context without this in the title it looks like you're abt to give a tutorial on how to make your tv look like the pics.
Thank you for your video. I wanted to give couple of tips. Your TV was mounted way too high. Mostly everbody makes that same mistake. You can also hide the TV power cables and HDMI on the wall for a cleaner look.
I’m 30 seconds into this video and it’s demonstrated proof as to why you should always get a home inspection. She does DIY stuff yet is too lazy to remove obstruction to paint. There is no way she’s doing stuff up to code or even bother research what the code is….i’ll keep watching. Please prove me wrong.
I love how you find creative ways to have what you want…and execute them SO well!
Thank you!

Love your design style! TFS,
If you have the budget for it buy the matte version of the TV, art mode looks even more astonishing!

Do these added frames restrict the connection for a remote??
When you update the sides of the frame could you please show us how you did it as well? This is brilliant.
Hi dear, quick question?? 😊

One of my favorites is Lone Fox!
@@PrettyinthePines thank you❤️
Your it girl!!! So creative and stylish ! I’m striving to be like you one day.. lol🥰
I love how this turned out. I have the same tv how much moulding did you order? 4 pieces…
I ordered two 8 foot pieces of moulding. It gave us a little extra room for any mistakes.
Question…what do you use to hide your cables? I’m enjoying all your videos on decorating and great use of spaces! 🐾👍💕🙏🇺🇸😊
That looks so beautiful!!!!❤
Beautiful! How has this held up?
Did you have to make any type of small hole in the frame so that the remote could connect with the tv?
As usual very nice!!!!!
good point, I would thing you would have to.
No, we didn’t have to make a hole in the trim. We do end up having to point the remote slightly up because the sensor is at the bottom of the tv but it’s not a hassle at all.
Brilliant!!!! So budget friendly! Exactly what I’m looking for!

Amazing! How do you do to put that beautiful image on the screen?
I just subscribed! Love the nursery video that I first saw that you did! Definitely, my style! You have a great eye! 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much!!
how did you mount the TV to the wall without damaging the wall?
It’s beautiful!🤎
So cute! Are you worried at all about the command strips leaving marks on the tv if you ever removed them? My only worry here!
Marvelous!!

I just ordered supplies to make a version of this, but I don’t have the Samsung. Maybe a dumb question, but how does your screen saver with art work?
!!
!!
Beautiful!!
Thanks! I can do that. It sure beats $500+ for a ready made. The adhesive strips are the key
What a great idea! So, does the diy frame not interfere with the signal from the remote? Since it covers up the little light up area at the bottom of the tv? This almost seems too good to be true!
We do have to point the remote a little lower but for the most part it works normally!
The frame doesn’t cover any of the remote sensors? Just curious
We haven't had any issues, surprisingly!
I was about to say this ...
This frame is so cool and so much cheaper. Did you have the problem where the light & motion sensor no longer works?
Loving it! Many thanks for sharing!
Just discovered your channel. Love love your style. So my vibe . ❤
Will this work for any flat screen TV or just for Samsung

What is your wall color? So beautiful!
Ethereal mood by Sherwin Williams!
Your living room is exactly what I want mine to look like! Where did you get the piece of furniture?
I found it on Chairish!!
@@PrettyinthePines thank you!

beautiful work ! may i ask if you paste them directly on your tv or its the bezel that comes with the frame TV ?
It’s the bezel that comes with the tv!
didnt know them magnets would be that strong to hold them wow
@@PrettyinthePines
This is new to me so this is a dumb question. When the tv isn't on how does the floral photo show?
This is a Samsung frame tv that has an “art mode”. So it pops up when the tv is not actually on.
@@PrettyinthePines
Thanks!!!

Yes! It is actually a picture I took of the hydrangeas and then used an app to make it look like an oil painting. I have digital downloads of this print on my Etsy shop - rstyle.me/+jekj39zag7f6lVB-hvb52A
That us the coolest!👍
so cool
Would you be able to use magnet strips instead of the command strips?
Yes definitely!

So if I understand correctly, u didn't connect the 4 pieces together? U just adhered them to the Command Strips separately therefore making it look like a complete frame?? I'm wanting to do this too, but I'm a bit nervous abt the trim falling off. It looks fantastic!
Yes, exactly! Each piece was independently added to the tv frame by command strips.
And you don’t see gaps where the wood meets in the corners? I see most people use wood filler for the corners when making a TV frame, but your way is way less of an overwhelming project, which I love!
could u do this on other tvs?
Yes! It’s just chair molding and command strips!
ok you have my attention
so simple and made SUCH a difference!

Is the fireplace mantel from Wayfair attached to the wall in your living room?
Yes it is!
@@PrettyinthePines Thank you for your quick response. I love your decorating style. I've picked up some great tips from your videos.
I have maybe a silly question, do the frames not block the sensor bar on the tv? I want to make one.
They do, but it’s just a tiny bit. We had to point the remote a little lower than usual but everything still works.
@prettyinthepines Can you please share the size of your art TV, trim measurements, and trim link? :) This is my dream tv.
We don’t have any molding on the side, but it is essentially blocked by other frames.
The trim can be found here - rstyle.me/+EwbV7n1mFxg1vUGL-vXVLA
For a 43 inch Frame TV, our measurements were 20.5 in vertically and 37 in horizontally. Make sure you measure and cut on the inside of the trim.
hmm what did you cover the tv frame with before adding the command strips ?
It was just the standard crane that came with the TV.
Where did you get your other art work from?
I got it from a bunch of different places. Here is a link to my Shop By Room page that has links to the art - prettyinthepines.com/room/livingroom/
@prettyinthepines can you do this with any TV?
Yes! You can definitely do the frame with any tv.
Nice love it
Hi does the wood affect the remote sensor ?
We do have to aim the remote a little lower but it works normally for the most part!
I have a question: how do you switch the TV on/off, change channels etc. If the sensor is covered by the frame?
The sensor is at the bottom of the TV and we haven’t had any issues with it being blocked so far 🤷🏻♀️
How many pieces of molding did you buy?
Two 8 foot pieces.
🎉I could have put 10 likes but can do only 1😂. Amazing job 🎉
How does the TV have a painting in front of it?
It’s a frame tv that has an art mode.
How did you hide the wires?
We used a cord cover! It runs behind one of the other frames. amzn.to/3LVqosV
What paint color is this?
Ethereal mood by Sherwin Williams!
your frame tv must be the first gen one? the screen looks glossy. mine has the matte finish so there is absolutely zero reflection from whatever angle
Oooh that sounds nice! Yeah, we got this one in 2020 so I’m not sure what generation it is but it’s definitely a little older.
Looks great but the Tv is to high.
fabulous🤎🌷🌈
If u cant do this frame.why not measure your telly .then buy a picture frame and use the frame only.just a thought.
You could definitely do that! But that is usually much more expensive. This whole project cost me about $40 and 2 hours of time.
You should definitely lead with ""we already have a Samsung frame tv" otherwise out of context without this in the title it looks like you're abt to give a tutorial on how to make your tv look like the pics.
