- Is Gunsan City South Korea Better Than Seoul?
I visited Gunsan South Korea to see cherry blossoms at Eunpa Lake Park and Wolmyeong Park, but I discovered so much more! Gunsan South Korea is a city located in Jeollabokdo South Korea. The city is beautiful, with many sights to see such as islands, parks, cherry blossoms (in spring) and an entire section of the city dedicated to the Japanese occupation that took place in Gunsan. While the occupation by the Japanese was horrible, the buildings left behind are beautiful, and the city of Gunsan has continued to renovate the area to bring in more and more tourists from around Korea and the world. If you are looking for a new place to travel while visiting South Korea, I suggest you get out of Seoul and visit the Dream Hub Gunsan! You will not be disappointed!

If you ever travel in Korea, you need to visit Gunsan. There is just too much to do...things you can't do in Seoul. Seoul is not Korea! Try some new places!

So sorry for the loss of your Grandfather. He was part of your family history - losing him is like losing a big branch of your family tree.
Thank you so much:( I think about him every day. As long as he's in my heart, he's still alive. I'll continue to live using his teachings:)
@@francoismarc3 That is the best way you can honour him - respect :).
I remember when my Grandmother died. She was the last of my Grandparents. She lived the longest, but what annoyed me is people kept asking how old she was?. It doesn't matter if she was 110. Like your Grandfather it was the end of an era. My Grandmother had an old hanok house in the countryside and I had so many fond childhood memories from there. It felt like those memories died in a sort of way.
