To each their own. The reason I think the more synthetic voices fit this song better is that the more natural voices sound human. I picture many different types of insanity as being artificial constructs of the mind. Just human enough to be recognizable, but off enough to know they're not. However, I just noticed that Lily sounds more synthetic during the "sAnIty" segment. A very nice touch, I think. Care to guess why?
I notice now, upon listening again, that Gakupo sounds noticeably more synthetic than normal. It seems that Gakupo can be adapted to fit whatever role is called for, with enough talent. As I said originally, I think the synthetic sounding voices fit this song better, and that leaves Gakupo's part in this remix being the part I like more. Don't get me wrong, Lily's part is very well put together, but I don't think the more natural sounding voice quite fits the song.
