There is a brush on the 1806 model. You have to push that lever on the back at the bottom and remove the unit from the bottom mopping unit.

I'm sure glad I found this video. I wanted to buy my sister a steamer and I was gonna get the deluxe with all the bells and whistles but the main purpose is to clean the floor and the power fresh has more steam meaning it's going to clean better. So thank you for helping me make up my mind
