It depends on the shape of the basket as the douple sprout requires the basket bottom to be a bit curved. Those bottomless single baskets are not likely to fit.
Got mine yesterday, still adjusting, did you time the extraction or just use the auto one. mine turns a bit bubbly on one side. Not sure what went wrong.
Great to hear you're adjusting to your new machine! Regarding the bubbles, it's generally normal for espresso to have some bubbles, especially if you're using freshly roasted beans. They release more carbon dioxide, which can lead to a bubblier extraction. As for timing, I just use the auto setting and experiment it against the grind size. If one side of your shot is bubbly or uneven, it might be due to uneven tamping or the grind distribution in the portafilter. Make sure the coffee bed is level and the tamp is even to ensure uniform extraction.
51mm filter paper. you can also place a piece of the filter paper into the filter basket as the base as that will also keep the basket cleaner and reduce the amount of coffee oil.
the grind size really depends on your grinding machine. If you are using the Simplus grinder, just set it to fine. if other grinding machines, you can set it to the mid-level of the fine size.
I got one just delivered today!!! Im soo happyyyyyy
It's a great espresso machine for 100 bucks. Do temper the powder properly and you won't be disappointed

Hi! Thanks for the review. Are the baskets single-walled 51mm baskets? I've got 51mm baskets from other machines, and I am wondering if it will fit..
