A lot of the most popular wallets aren't compatible with 24 word seed phrase. They also don't allow to set a custom passphrase. If they did, even if you leak your seed phrase, they would also have to brute force passphrase

Coinbase takes ZERO responsibility. I had my keys secure, I had not been phished, I had 2FA on AND biometric requirements on every transaction in and out. My Coinbase Wallet was hacked and 2k in RSR and 1INCH converted to ETH and sent to an ETH address. So no you are wrong there was no phishing that occurred in my case.
I hear you, that’s tough, I feel for you man. Phishing is most common but there are other ways as well to get hacked including giving permissions to malicious contracts. download a wallet such as Metamask for example and import the 12 word seed phrase, and funds will show up in new wallet.

@@bspiderm nope, they'll both have access to the crypto. But if you spend or make a crypto transaction in 1 wallet, the other wallet will show the same balance. While you can import to a new wallet with a seed phrase, with a Ledger Nano you don't want to do this. The whole point of a Ledger is that you are generating a new secure seed phrase on the device not connected to the internet, so by importing a seed phrase from an old hot wallet it defeats the purpose of hardware wallets. Once you have your Ledger set up though, if it breaks, then yes you can restore the seed to another hardware wallet.

Unfortunately you are using a fake app or connected your wallet/sent money to a scam site from your wallet. DO NOT send any more money to "release the funds". It's a scam.

So for each cryptocurrency, a fee is usually paid to send (or make a transaction). These fees are used to pay the validators/people processing the transaction on the blockchain. ERC20 tokens are built on Ethereum so whenever sending an ERC20 token, a gas fee in Ethereum is paid, meaning someone will need some ETH in their wallet.
Did the wallet say “handling fee”? I’ve never heard this term before. To make sure you’re not falling for a scam, feel free to message me on Instagram or Twitter and I can take a look at screenshots of what you’re looking at.

2 - what does the message say exactly? Does it say “handling fee” or “gas fee”? Gas fee is normal.

I haven’t been phished, and I never do any sketchy shit. I use aliases and 2FA, and just generally know what the fuck I’m doing, but my wallet stopped adding up despite reflecting everything in my transaction history. What do you make of that? ATM I’m like $40 short vs my deposits. BTC has only gone up since my deposits were made, so I don’t think it’s a market fluctuation.
