the beginning made me think so much of the old black and white sci fi movies of the 60’s. Reminiscent of Peter Cushing, hammer house of horror, vibes. But more gore. lol…. Stayed til end.
This reminds me more of what might happen at CERN. Excellent film; plunged into the drama almost from the beginning. Actors excellent. Watch this film. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for showing!
The people operating the CERN super collider need to stop before they bring something onto Earth that can destroy this world, although people are already doing a great job of that just by themselves. A black hole is nothing to mess with, and if they want to capture dark matter, then they have lost their minds, because it is very dangerous.

All those guns in the facility arsenal, no handgrenades, yet one took just a single handgun, the other just the pump action and neither had any spare ammo. I'd have armed myself to the teeth.
Saves on special effects costs, usually, but this film had good enough effects anyway. Another reason is it ramps up the fear and uneasiness factors, if the lighting is near to non-existent.
Oh man, this was... just an incredible production. Lol 😂 But seriously, it's honestly kinda sad that that this is what we often get out of such an important topic like first contact. It will happen sooner or later. And so far, we aren't REMOTELY prepared for that moment.
Considering it broke out of an Area51 installation, they would have had precautions like those of the CDC in Walking Dead, except far more extreme. The facility would do an automated lock down then likely a thermonuclear explosion. Everyone and everything in a 10 mile radius would be turned to ash instantly - hence the reason they prevent neighborhoods and such from being built too close to these type of facilities. Still, good movie though given its budget.

I've seen "The Mist" and I agree the special effects were much better in that film. It something that could happen. They're out there. I've had my own personal interaction with them. I don't care if you believe me or not, it happened.

One of the larger ones knew to put the lenses just so, towards the end of the movie and they all knew to break through the portal. Perhaps the enormous one, killed at the end, was the mastermind, the others it's minions?
not sure why the soldiers all had shotguns when british soldiers should have sa80s, watchable film but too many ideas nicked from other films for me too many elements of alien used.

Good acting, good plot and CGI although a few of the creatures looked liked 1950 movies. I was entertained after a bit of a slow start it sped up momentum to the end.

The title of the movie is the area 51 incident. But seems to have been filmed somewhere in the UK. Due to the fact that almost every character so far has a British accent and the steering wheel on the cars are all on the right side lmao
Mostly filmed in what appears to be 'Kelvedon Hatch secret nuclear bunker' , a museum near Brentwood, Essex. Filmed in the dark as the building was not allowed to be cleared so the background is the exhibits which would give it away with the lights on.
Tha'ts why i stood away out of places like that, as much i could do , due to the example of the movie, in my single era😮 i used to choose the beach, instead😊

This was great! Kept the tension going. Very good effects. I liked the characters - got you invested. Nice twist on the ending.
That was a really good sci fi movie. Done well with all the suspense, mystery and action.
