I've watched a lot of mtb stuff on here but this is a very good bit of filming because there's no annoying music its about you folk going out together on a tough circuit the descending was excellent 👍
Just to enhance viewer enjoyment…….that slope away off the summit is way steeper than it appears in the video. I live fairly close by and like to walk it; I am astounded and astonished by those who enjoy cycling up and down! I take my hat off! Dare devil stuff. It must be some buzz. Good for you!
The rocks as you ride off the summit really tinkle , it’s an unusual sound! I remember when we rode it. And Ullock Pike is a fantastic descent. 😁 And well ridden. ✊
I walk, I live in North Cumbria. I love to see people enjoying themselves and interacting with the mountains! There’s no need for bollocking! I love to see the Cyclists; it’s like Parkour; couldn’t do it myself but amazing seeing others.
Well surely Belinda Carlisle nailed it when she said "Heaven is a place on earth". She clearly meant when riding down Skiddaw with the sun setting and the stones chattering. Truly magical scenes.
Awesome ride and inspiring video... Been to the Lakes a few times but never up Skiddaw. And more importantly, how didn't i know about this TH-cam channel!?.. Subbed..
If the ews was in Keswick they could do a shuttle to Helvellyn for stage 1 and 2 shuttle back, ride to Whinlatter for stage 3 and 4 and making Skiddaw the queen stage.
First time I rode Skiddaw I checked the strava KOMs afterwards, some chap by the name of "Italian Stallion" was about 50% faster than everyone else on the segments. Wonder who that could have been :D
The one about half way down which is almost impossible to ride? I push down. I only know about 3 people who have ridden that and they are all pro-riders

Absolute Lakes classic. It’s changed a bit since I rode it in this video though. Seen a lot of traffic
I was going to do a Helvellyn route but I think I’ll do this now. Fantastic.

We got a proper bollocking from an old walker coming down there last year, thought he was going to have a heart attack 😂🤣🤣

That looked mint meg good effort. How long does it take to get to the top?
About an hour of pushing/riding. Depends on where you start from really.
Do oyu have a .gpx file of the route please?
Brilliant run! How did you find the really steep slab near the top of the ridge? I've always bottled that section.
The one about half way down which is almost impossible to ride? I push down. I only know about 3 people who have ridden that and they are all pro-riders
