I remember being in Hasbrouk Heights right near the tunnel/ close to NYC - but I just drove through it. When I worked at the Holiday Inn in Jamesburg , the head of the housekeeping dept was from Haabrouk Heights -

I grew up there. Terrible town, nothing to do, full of snobby, judgmental people. I was bullied horribly all through grammar school and into junior high, and no one did anything about it.

I went through the same experience in heights. once I moved to North Arlington, NJ, the people were so much nicer and there was lots more parks and things to do.

I meant to say Hasbrouck and not Haabrouck/ I actually met someone who worked at Teterboro airport many years ago

No, Hasbrouck Heights is much further northwest, like 10 or 12 miles away. Holland Tunnel is in Jersey City; and Lincoln Tunnel is in Weehawken. Maybe you are confused with "The Heights", which is in Jersey City (a Jersey City neighborhood, also known as "Jersey City Heights), about just a mile (or two miles if you are near Union City) away from Holland Tunnel; and about a couple miles from Lincoln Tunnel.
