In 2018 I was in Kohima to celebrate my birthday coz 1st DEC is my birthday I've decided to get suicide in dat particular day, One guy I remember fromhorn bill festival gave me power n teach me" how to rise after fallen" I learn lot from him a person not so called educated like us he was indigenous Man. I salute him I did nt have his any number or any address nor recall his name. I missed him a lot from Bangladesh. Last year i was also be there during horn bill festival to get him. I tried very hard to find him in the crowd.
My grandfather had fought in the defence of kohima in ww2. Although he never mentioned much about this chapter of his life, your song reminds me that a visit to kohima is due. Clearly your work showcases such a rich and diverse culture of which we knew so little even while growing up in calcutta..

I'm a truck driver from the US and I've listened to this song many times without understanding what it meant... --I enjoyed wondering what "hiyo" could possibly mean. Given that it is repeated throughout, I imagined that it had to be something beautiful and wise. When I saw the lyrics in english I realized I was not wrong. Its amazing how one phrase or word can have so much meaning. This song is about taking a risk and being brave and never giving up. It is delivered with such angelic grace and humility that it has become one of my favorites on spotify. (I wish I could buy a vinyl record of A Slice of Li but sadly I can't find one). Anyways thank you for your music! It always brightens my day
