I haven't used the steez HLC yet, but I do own a zillion HLC 1514. While the zillion is a sexy reel with all the bells and whistles I get longer casts with my TDZs on average. To milk all the potential distance out of the zillion I have to find the line it likes the best, and the Zs don't really have a line preference. (I only use braid) While the Zillion HLC is pretty close to the Z 103s in distance, the Z 100 US Trail really kicks the Zillions butt, even without the t wing. It's getting harder to find good quality Zs, and the price for the good ones keeps going up. Are you going to do a follow up video comparing the steez before and after the modifications you spoke about? It would be interesting to see how much difference the bearing modifications will make.

How does this compare to the usdm steez A? You feel like you definitely get longer casts with the HLC?
Will daiwa steez a tw hockey handle like 1 oz lure with skirts. Over will it backlash, due to the drag of the lure cutting through the air?
@@swimjigman953 I throw 1oz spinnerbaits with STEEZ A no problem.. and a Steez A2 throws 7/8ths or bigger jigs..
Is the paint on the reel a deep blue or dark gray?
What reel do you use when your throwing a jerkbait?

Is it worth the extra money? I use nothing but daiwa tatula elite so compared to that is it worth it?
