Platform of choice (PC, consoles) it's up to you. First, you need to decide in which type of racing games you're interested in: more arcade or more sim or even sim racing games. For sims or more sim games it would be a good idea to buy a racing wheel. F1 2021 it's playable with the controller, but if you want to enjoy this game, racing wheel is necessary.

Haven’t bought an F1 CM game since the 2009 version and why because it’s the same game every year. No offense to any F1 fans but this is marketing campaign I wish to not be apart of.

I don't think that 341 kph with DRS and overtake is slow. But on the other hand, without draft it's slow. But I don't have comparison to other cars. So far I only drove in 3, Williams, Ferrari and McLaren and on different circuits.
the engine sounds didnt change much. in 2020 they were really realistic and for 2021 irl they didnt change (the sound), but in f1 2020 they were missing the whistle sound so hey added it
You can damage floor in your car and that can affect your driving. The same as rear wing damage, but it's harder to get wing damage. Still, it's easier for me to drive without TC in AC, rather than in F1 games.

Frame rate during cutscenes is ass. Surely they could run these at 60 fps on the new systems.
It's 30FPS in quality mode. In performance mode it's 60FPS.
