You do a fantastic job of showing the technique...it's hard to see the purpose as a non-artyarn spinner, but I suppose there is one. It reminds me of very early yarns in my spinning journey that I tried hard to ignore as I strove to become as consistent as possible. Love seeing the kitties "helping"!
I keep making this yarn accidentally as I’m learning to spin with a drop spindle. No idea what to do with it as a single, other than weaving, but it looks interesting as a 2 ply! Great video, cats are always the best help.
LOL I am learning to spin and do the thick and thin but I don't want to. Now I must reverse engineer what I am doing wrong. Thanks for your close up shots. They will help enormously.
Hi Maegan, thanks for letting me know you had a problem with the sound. 14:07 is the end of the video where there should just be the two text-based clips. I did drop the sound down a bit when Saffy was on my lap as she kept knocking the microphone, but that's around the 9 minute mark. I've watched it back all the way through just in case TH-cam did something weird with the sound after I uploaded but it seems fine. Could you try again?
JCBoggs says she didn’t invent any of her techniques! As long as you’re not using copies of her videos to teach, you can recreate your own tutorials anyway you want!

Wanted to let you know at the 14:07 time the volume drops considerably and it's like your wispering. Love everything before that though!!!!
