I'm super excited for this video because I talk about my current FAVOURITE product to get a deep, natural tan fast: Sun Bum SPF 15 Tanning Oil. ✨🌟 Scroll down to find a quick pro & con list for both Sun Bum tanning products✨🌟 I know that may sound surprising given that it's an SPF oil but trust me, it has given me the deepest natural tan of all the products I've tried so far. I used Sun bum spf15 for the first time today. I have a base tan and was out for 4+hours(flipping every half hour). Usually, I'd turn very red. Not today. This is good stuff!!

Omg I love the oil so much. I wear it after my shower as perfume cause it’s soooo light and gorgeous. It’s amazing. I have Hawaiian tropics oil too and this smells soooo much better.

Don't get either unless you want to prematurely age your skin and increase your risk of skin cancer. Tanning is just as bad as a sun burn.

Love your vids! I have both the tanning oil and the maui babe and the tanning spray is SOOOO much easier to apply. I have rosacea so I cant get any sun on my face so I use a fake tan spray by st. tropez for face only

Hiii😊 aw thanks 🥺❤️ personally I lay out anywhere from 1-4 hours. Or I spend the whole day doing activities in the sun coincidentally. I recommend on a super sunny day to stay out for 2 hours to get a nice tan💕make sure to use sunscreen hehehe

I looked this video AFTER buying the tanning oil sph 15 wondering if i made a good choice, welp... happy I did haha it also felt nice applying I didn't feel too icky I'm already dark but occasionally burn depending on how the sun is feeling and if I'm not moving eg if I'm at a concert so I figured this a good protectant base on the fact that my melanin is already high it'll help me get alittle higher AND ads alittle sph. Plus it's low key it doesn't go ON dark I don't wanna look like I'm applying paint to my self I've hated that I've never used tanning ANYTHING before except once and I hated it because of that but the oil truly is amazing. Just wanted to hear other opinions.
Try look at weather apps the uv index to know how the sun are i often tan when it 5 och 4 if its 7 i wouldnt recommend ti long Maybe only 20 minutes But yeas!

I like what you had to say about the Sun Bum oil and am considering it, but the SPF has me concerned. With every SPF/sunscreen I have ever tried (even ones designated for babies and sensitive skin including Aveeno and Neutrogena), the SPF causes my skin to break out into hives. I have even sought out SPFs with different active ingredients and had the same result. Any advice?
Hey! You could be allergic to the uva blocking agent Oxybenzone (benzophenone-3), maybe go to your doctor and ask them to try a test to see if that’s the cause! I would recommend doing a patch test with the oil to see if the same occurs. :)

I use the Australian Gold bronzer intensifier, I’ve used it for years and am using this summer, you should compare it to some of the other products you use

I know this is three years late but I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to combine the oil and the lotion together
So quick question do you have to burn first like does it make you burn before you tan or does it just make you tan this way you spend less time in the sun, cause I tan pretty easily in the summer with sometimes getting a sun burn here and there

Ok I would really appreciate if someone responded but with the sun bum tanning oil is it to help you get tan but it’s not like a self tanner thing
Yes, it’s a tanning oil, so when you go in the sun it will accelerate your tan (along with providing 15 SPF - make sure you use other SPF too!). It is NOT a self tanner so it doesn’t provide any pigment on its own and you should wash it off after tanning. Make sure to never ever use this product in a tanning bed! It is meant for the natural sun only. It will accelerate your tan while you’re in the sun but not provide any self tan just using the product alone. I hope this helps 🤍🤍

The suns Bum oil has spf 15 which means it’s just an oil form of normal spf sunscreen so yes it protects the same way a normal spf 15 would:)

Question about the sun bum Browning Lotion. Is it as greasy as the Maui babe one? I am having the issue with the Maui Babe one that if I leave it on longer than 10 minutes I get really bad greasy pimples forming literally everywhere. Any advice?
In my opinion the sun bum is slightly less greasy then the maui babe one and that’s because it’s less hydrating too. You may be having an allergic reaction so I would recommend doing a patch test of the maui babe lotion on your wrist with no other products on. Then check back in 24 hours and see if the same pimple rash forms again. If it does this means u most likely are reacting to an ingredient in their product. If not then some of the ingredients in the maui babe may be considered “pore clogging” to your skin. I would suggest to try this out and then let me know and I will try my best to help you debunk this issue❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
lilcbaksi I did a patch test when I first got it. I had a few pimples form but I thought it was just that it was really greasy and oily and was clogging my pores.

You can! But make sure to use sunscreen too! I personally would do a layer of at least spf 30 then add some coconut oil on top:)

Awe I’m sorry!! Make sure to use spf 30 or more and stay out of the sun for awhile. Use a mixture of 3 parts water and one part white or Apple cider vinegar and use a wash cloth to dap the mixture on your body, it will help the pain by removing some of the heat and redness. Feel better 🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰

You’re welcome :( I’m sorry you’re in pain, hopefully the vinegar and water trick helps, make sure after about 15-20 minutes you wash off the vinegar and water mixture and put on a thick, non-irritating moisturizer. Also, if you don’t want to use the vinegar and water and it really hurts, you can put Polysporin over the burnt skin, wear a long sleeved shirt and pants and sleep with it on. It should feel better in the morning ❤️❤️

I am pretty light and burn easily. What tanning products do you recommend for people like me?
I suggest getting the maui babe browning lotion and using an spf 30 under it:)
Also, stay out in the sun for shorter periods and start with a SPF 50 if you’re really fair and work up to less SPF as you build up a base tan. And keep checking your skin for burns as you go to make sure you aren’t getting burnt at all and that you’re applying your SPF frequently enough. As you build up your base tan, you can lower your SPF to 30 🥰

Depends on how many hours you are outside! Please be carful if you spend all your days outside and wear spf and you should be okay:) make sure to hydrate your skin with lotion after you shower and take days off. And never tan if you have a burn:( stay safe ❤️
