This rock paper scissors mechanic is fundamentally a gimmick. I dont think reading peoples minds is something most of us can really improve in so mastery goes out the window... Thats why this is doomed to feel like a dice throwing contest after a while.
This was a great review. I've been looking at this game for some time, but just can't quite make up my mind about it. It does seem to be the weakest of the three games in the series, with Blitzkrieg being my own personal favourite. Mind you, it is pretty cheap at the moment, and it might come even lower after Christmas, maybe I'll wait and see what happens in the sales?

I think the more variables you throw in the mix the more ways you can adjust for it, but ultimately I don't disagree.
Thanks for the review. I’m going to stick with Caesar. We only have room for so many two player games in our collection
