Hi LG, thanks for watching!
How to study for pharmacology:
1. Memorize drug classes rather than individual meds (go by generic name and ending, i.e. -lol = beta blockers)
2. memorize their mechanism of action (MOA)
3. memorize the MOST COMMON side effects (usually in red, bold, italics)
4. Memorize the most important nursing considerations.
ALL MEDS IN THE SAME CLASS WILL HAVE THE SAME MOA, SIDE EFFECTS & NURSING CONSIDERATIONS!
Drug cards can greatly help you in memorizing meds.
