  • On this episode of Here’s The Drill, I teach you how to blouse your boots. I give you tricks to not allowing your laces to fall out, how to keep your blouse from sliding up your leg and how to get that professional look. All in accordance with AR 670-1.
This technique has been with me just about my whole military career. One of my best friends taught me it and I’ve stuck with it ever since.

I wasn’t taught any of this in basic. I’m on deployment right now binge watching your videos so I look fresh and squared away when I come home. Plus, after deployment, there’s going to be a lot of people getting out, so what better time to rebrand the unit by enforcing standards that should have been set to begin with

Hah...all my D Sgts at basic just had us stuff them. Thanks to covid all they ever talked about was not being able to go home off base and see their families. Only learned about boot blousers once I got back home.

Just an observation not a criticism. We were always told by our drill sergeants that boot laces are always to be left over right. Is that still the case?

Is there a before and after pic when it comes to standing up while using this trick?
