Hi Robert, thanks for your comment. Yes, Decorkrete is suitable for interior and exterior areas. If you would like to use Decorkrete and then receive more information, please contact us directly at sales@diasen.com. Best Regards, Diasen staff.
We are pleased about your interest in our Decorkrete. Depending on the type of substrate, a specific primer is applied. Then microcement is applied to create the decoration. Finally, a transparent protective coat is applied. The transparent protective layer Aquafloor Eco can be restored approximately every 8-10 years, depending on the type of use of the surface. We remain at your disposal for any further clarification and we wish you a nice day! Best regards, Team Diasen
In this type of intervention, where the need is to have a homogenous surface without the joints, we propose our decorative microcement Decorkrete. In fact, the product guarantees high resistance while having a reduced thickness. In these cases, fibre cement is not needed.
We are pleased with your interest in our decorative solution. In order to apply our product on already painted surfaces, it is necessary to sand the paint and check its adhesion once the sanding process is finished. Furthermore, it would be helpful to understand the composition of the paint (generally, the product data sheet is sufficient) in order to have more useful information on the possible adhesion and compatibility of our product. In such cases, we still recommend applying our WATStop product with a yield of 1 kg/m2 before applying Decorkrete.
Hi George, we are glad about your interest in our solution. In which country are you located? Then we can direct you to our sales partner operating in your area. We look forward to your reply. Have a nice day!
If it cracks by deflection it wasn’t installed properly. If it cracks from an impact, it would have cracked anyway wether there was cement finish over it or not.
Thank you for your comment and for taking the time to share your thoughts. We truly appreciate all feedback. We have developed our microcement with a unique formulation to minimize cracking. May we kindly ask if you are a professional decorator and if you have had any experience with our product? If so, we would love to hear more about your perspective, given your expertise. Thank you in advance! We look forward to your reply and wish you a wonderful day. 😊

Sanding is the only bit that puts me off

So what happens if the tile underneath cracks?
If it cracks by deflection it wasn’t installed properly. If it cracks from an impact, it would have cracked anyway wether there was cement finish over it or not.
Then you get a crack in your tile.
You I need to sand the tile before applying the microcement?
No
