Mic Drop is BTS' response to their haters with a little flexing on the side spitting facts...lol. with Suga's epic lines "tasteless ratatouille" & "sue it". I recommend you check their latest live performance of Mic Drop from their Yet To Come Busan concert last October 2022 where it was attended by 70k live audience and was livestreamed by over 50M worldwide causing the apps to crash from time to time....but so worth it. You will feel the same energy. 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯 thanks for reacting to BTS.
Glad you liked it! With their live performance (or in their dance practice) of Mic Drop, instead of ending it there, there's a dance break before the end. My suggestion is to watch their debut song, No More Dream. I don't think you've seen it yet.
ABSOLUTELY AGREE. Always have subtitles on so you know what they're saying. Most BTS songs have deep meanings & some connect to other ones. Always pause a sec at the end because just when you think it's over, it's not. Thanks for your reaction.
Although starting as a hip hop group, BTS love mixing various genres together in unique ways within a song. They also don't limit themselves and we often say "they don't have a genre, they are the genre" They rap and sing in Korean, Japanese and English. Their cadence and flow is awesome. I don't know if you had the subtitles on as we couldn't see them in this end, but their lyrics are great... this was a slap back to their haters.... Steve Aoki is a DJ and a well respected producer. He has worked with BTS on other songs too and has much respect for the guys. I think you will like their b sides, i prefer them to their hit songs.
on their live performance they have a dance break at the end that makes it longer. Looking forward to the next BTS reaction. THANK YOU FOR GIVING BTS a chance.
There's so much to react to... the truth untold live, Blood sweat and tears, house of cards, 1-4 Chyper....welcom to the rabbithole..every song is so meaningfull...about 400 songs to go.....as BTS and their solo's... it will take you month's...
Check BTS cover of I'll Be Missing You (by P. Daddy, F. Evans & Sting) sang live at BBC Channel. You will definitely love the cover plus the twist...they actually sang 3 songs live. Thanks for reacting to BTS. I recommend you check also BTS Room Live BTS Festa
This is Mic Drop light btw you should see the live performances of Mic Drop with a live band with heavy bass and drum and the extra 2 extreme dance breaks. It's a total diss track to all their haters and backing it up with facts about how many awards they have and how they are global super stars compare to the fools who diss them but are doing no were.
Hi there! I like your reaction and I'm glad you like this song! I think you should listen to ON Kinetic Manifesto Film and the tiny desk! I think you'd like it too. Keep reacting to BTS please! Greetings from Argentina.
As you listen to more BTS songs you'll find that they often end them on unusual and unexpected beats/counts and it's absolutely on purpose every time. Playing around with the melody itself is one of the things they're known for. For example, they'll change the beat of the rap to "meet up" with the overall beat of the song later on like Suga's verse in ON. Or in Jimin's solo song Lie where there's a "lie" hidden within the melody itself. Or Save Me and I'm Fine which mirror each other in meaning and choreography and have the same notes except in reverse. Louder Than Bombs is so technically intricate that they've never performed it live! The more you dissect their music the more impressive it becomes tbh. I've been a fan for almost four years now and I'm continually blown away by their talent and genius. ~ a Danish ARMY, age 48 💜 (Btw, the fandom name ARMY is an acronym for Adorable Representatives MC for Youth. Doesn't sound quite as daunting, does it?! 😉)
i don't even like Steve Aoki, but he did a stellar job on this. I mean, the source material was already top tier. Old BTS is just so good. I recommend Life Goes On, but it's kinda a melancholic covid era track...
Hello there :) I absolutely get it, these are your honest reactions & that's why they are great. As you said: wether it's ice cream flavors or songs, you can't like everything. What I love though is that even though you are being critical, you are using the right words to do so. BTS' music is awesome. The guys themselves (personality wise) are even more awesome. Most of the songs are mainstream & therefore the rap parts or vocal parts are split up between the 7 of the members. While the composition is always good, it is impossible to show all the members individual talents in mainstream songs. I'd recommend you to check out some rapline songs (RM, Suga/Agust D & J-Hope's music) and a few songs of each latest solo albums. The vocal line is also very powerful. While they are all currently serving in military, the 7 of them produced their solo works ahead of time to keep the fans entertained and even more importantly: to show off their talents in their own musical style. I know you don't wanna drop in too deep in the rabbit hole - but especially the rap line's efforts (writing/ producing) might be fun checking out for you, if you are ready to check out the lyrics as well. Each member is super talented & they deserve to be seen. Thanx for checking them out. Really appreciate your content so far! My personal recommendation would be the "2021 BTS Room Live" that way you can hear them perform a few songs in a row, see thir vocal abilities & also get to know their peronalities a little by how (funnily) they interact with each other
Rational comments like these truly do make my day, it more than negates the feeling of confusion after reading comments from people that attack me for being honest. I truly appreciate it
Watch NEURON by j-hope He is one of the rappers and just released an album called hope on the street ( with a new verson of the j-cole collab) The whole album is basically a throwback in 90s hip hop scene
It didn't seem that you had the CC's on as I didn't see them on the MV. Also because when you're talking about not understanding rapping in a foreign language at the point in the video when RM comes out of the ambulance rapping. RM is rapping in English! BTS is known for their lyricism and story telling. As well, their MV's are reflective of the story they tell in their lyrics. As a matter of fact, they sang in English more in this remix than most of their other Korean songs. If you don't know the lyrics, you will never know, understand or appreciate BTS . If I misunderstood what you said then I apologize.
bts 'On: Kinetic Manifesto film'!!! You wont be disappointed!
Yes, this one, please!
On please 100000% BEST
I vote for Guide The Bangtan 7! Looking foward for the next reactions

9:51 there is a longer version of the song, it’s just not the one used in the mv

Two dance breaks don't forget the one in the middle as well for one of the Award Shows. With the red lighting background.
Big hit is their record company

Please listen to BTS Blood Sweat and Tears. It’s the song that made me Army.

Yo bro please react to gigi de lana doing cover of Eminem and Rhianna " just love the way you lie " 😊
On Kinetic Manifesto, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Not Today. To be honest I haven't found a song that I don't like.
