I know it's cooking show but i don't know but this show has therapeutic effect on me whenever I m down or depressed i watch the episodes and it soothes me
I think because they didn’t take themselves too seriously that the show ended up having a very carefree relaxed tone to it. You don’t feel like you’re watching a tv show as much as you feel you’re hanging out with old friends.
I personally love the food that they made. Very classic English taste. Lots of rich meat, cream, and seafood. It's food for adults with grown-up palates. I'm sure I wouldn't like every dish they made, but most of their food looks a treat.
I loved watching these two cooking up a storm many years ago and I'm so happy I get to watch it again now. Their banter and wit could never go out of style. Just listening to them is like having two great friends over. Thankyou Ladies, ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🇦🇺🇦🇺
One of my favorite things is the appreciation these two ladies have for the animals that feed us and I love the farms that are open fields and such for them to just live their lives even if ultimately its meant to feed us. I am grateful for that attitude and for the animals themselves and the people who process them. I am a cranivore but could never kill one on my own. I ashamedly live the blind eye meat eaters life
I've been reading a lot of the accounts which noted these ladies didn't really like each other, but I can tell that's bollocks. They're just super no nonsense British, with a dash of generational trauma, and 15 years apart. They're having the time of their lives together in this one, in the barristers one, most of their time together. If they rubbed each other the wrong way while working together, one might equate that to sisterhood. To your very good health
Lovely. Some of it seems a little bit contrived 20 odd years later, but this is one of those gentle places where you can spend time gladly. Thank you and Farewell, ladies.
I love these characters! Jennifer......did you hear anything? Unscathed. Much of their humour and wit goes right over my head.....but..... I do catch some and if gives me a great laugh. This has to be one of my favourite episodes. They enjoyed the plane ride. Courageous too!
In her autobiography Clarissa says she got all her outfits for all four series in one shop. She always looked so smart. I like the black blouse with lemons on.
Beauty is skin deep. Jennifer and Clarissa are international treasures. Anyone who insults them are WOKE AND BROKE!! Scotland is beautiful as well as Ireland, Wales, Britian. Always love the geography, animals of these videos. Thank you for.posting them.
@Carolyn Holody SPOT ON. And I'm a Yank. Years ago one.of my Cornish Christian friend called me a CLOSET BRIT. My love for Britian, Ireland, Scotland, Wales. Literature, geography, food, history. We used to talk on messenger such a dear one also pro-Jewish. For I am a Jews for Jesus. A 2-3rd generation Eastern European Jewess. My grandparents, great grandparents escaped and other distant relatives from Czar and pogroms in the late 1800's to Ellis Island. The only Gentile relative was my maternal grandma who was Irish, German Catholic. Carolyn I found Clarrisa and the Countryman show really nice.
@Stacy Satterfield- I am a Yank also- and an Anglophile. I adore these two ladies, God rest their souls, and can’t stand when ignorant people make comments about their weight or appearance.
@Carolyn Holody I truly agree with you. On all you said. I'm pro-UK also. And as I said WOKE MAKES YOU BROKE!. Love watching Jennifer and Clarissa. Have you seen Clarissa and the Countryman. Really nice.
these dear lovely dotty bats with their innuendos and banter are a national treasure...it's sad that these days generation would have them banned for being politically and socially incorrect...RIP Jennifer and Clarissa....what lives you led...on your terms and with such humourous wonderful eccentricity.....
I'm sure our lord Jesus and Heavenly father would love to let these ladies cook for them, whether for breakfast, elevenses, lunch, tea, dinner or supper!
who wrecked the tape by cutting the music!!!. ..I think it's a shame we can't see it in its original form!!! aside from that. ..these ladies were awesome!!!
I know it's cooking show but i don't know but this show has therapeutic effect on me whenever I m down or depressed i watch the episodes and it soothes me
Me too!

Me too! Time Team is like this, too.
I'm 33 born Considered a chav by most lol 😆 but I love this show it's nostalgic for me and I find the voices soothing.

"The feminists have killed the port trade." You couldn't say that on TV any more hahaha!
I personally love the food that they made. Very classic English taste. Lots of rich meat, cream, and seafood. It's food for adults with grown-up palates. I'm sure I wouldn't like every dish they made, but most of their food looks a treat.
Such a comforting program. Watch these over and over again
I'm 33 and watch it I find it nostalgic and their voices soothing
Could watch this over and over again! Just purchased the entire series on DVD. Can't wait to watch it on the big screen.
After all these years, they are still a delight to see. Wisdom and indulgence, yes please.💗
Hazardous, dear! Hazardous!! Jennifer cracks me up!
I loved the way even the salt made noise as it fell into the bowl. Loved these two jewels.
The majesty of both the deer and the flight in this episode...
"Clarissa's ahead. She's behaving like the Red Baron"😂😂😂
They are not with us but still making me smile.....
You are right about that- no matter how often I watch them, they always make me smile!! I love my Ladies!
I love how Jennifer supposedly grew herbs on her fire escape, and set things out there to cool!😁
Jennifer was quite quirky. It wouldn't surprise me at all.
She did when she was living with her Uncle
Makes perfect sense when you know those flats around Westminster Cathedral. Only option. Roy Hattersley had one in the same terrace
I'm grinning ear to ear. I just love the girls !

We need meat in our diet because our Teeth are carnivors
2 great cooks so much funxxx
Jennifer at 10:44 - "Bit of a skedaddle-ooooh!" Bless her, she was a one-off!
This can land on a field or a beach ... oh let's go to a beach 😁🤣🤣🤣🤣
So sorry both of them are long gone now.
Best show. Miss them so.
Awesome. I miss these two
❤❤❤❤those two ladies
i love these two so very much!!
I was once taken up in an old gypsy moth plane, never again!
I love these ladies!

A plane lands immediately after the girls turn left,
Jennifer: Did you hear a noise?
🤣🤣🤣
Love Jennifer hands...they were beautiful
Lovely. Some of it seems a little bit contrived 20 odd years later, but this is one of those gentle places where you can spend time gladly. Thank you and Farewell, ladies.
Because television IS contrived.
"God this is fantastic!....Better than SEX!" I just about shot juice through my nose!! Quality and genuine show...cant find this any more!
I love these characters!

I love Clarissa's dress in this one!
In her autobiography Clarissa says she got all her outfits for all four series in one shop.
She always looked so smart. I like the black blouse with lemons on.
@@Knappa22 I agree
Yes she looks quite nice in this dress. I love the colors on several of her blouses.
Guest starring Groundskeeper Willie at 13:29!
🤣😂🤣😂
so harmonious today
oh my lord when she said flying was better than sex i almost wet my pants....lmao....love them wish they were still here
Me too but they re both dead
Yes, they were a hoot!
Oh lord, FANTASTIC.
"...and then everybody weeps." lol 5:15
ha, we had that same Sunbeam mixer at home when I was a kid!
So did we
6:02 A giant squid!
I wouldn't eat three-quarters of what they cooked because I hate mustard, and Clarissa seemed to use it in everything.
I have always loved Jennifer. Do watch the doc. Or bio. On utube. I feel she died much too young. She was such fun and everybody loved her.
Beauty is skin deep. Jennifer and Clarissa are international treasures. Anyone who insults them are WOKE AND BROKE!!

@Stacy Satterfield- Well said! I can’t stand reading derogatory comments about these ladies- if folks don’t like ‘em, then don’t watch ‘em!

At first glance you'd think these were just two dumpy, old maids. But they really lived fascinating lives! I hope someone publishes a biography.
Clarissa has a couple of autobiographies I think.
There's also a good autobiography of Jennifer on TH-cam as well. It would have been fascinating to spend an afternoon cooking with them
those guts are ridiculous. Clarissa looks pregnant.
@ Lia Summers:
so what, who tf cares?
@ Lia Summers Grow up.
Jennifer has frequent episodes of looking like she is about ready to fall over....
She died in 1999 just a couple years after this show was filmed
The Kraken wakes!

Calling Auchtermuchty the Highlands is like calling Manchester Kent. Love it.
Not to mention that it is hardly just down the road from East Fortune.
18:20... She got it wrong. Aubergine is not a vegetable, its a fruit. Nonetheless, it looks delicious.
Aubergine is part of the eggplant family and it’s a vegetable. Not a fruit.
@@Catherine-259-s5uno it is a fruit. Cut it open you’ll find seeds. It grows from a flowering plant it’s a fruit 🍎
I miss them Jennifer was hilarious
Clarissa was pretty cool as well, and also funny!
sensible creatures :)

They prob did it so they would not get copyright flagged. I dont mind the missing tune as long as I can these two great ladies.
Like two lady's very funny.
This show is so comforting 🎉🎉🎉idk why
sound is a bit weird but thank you for uploading👍
I wonder who she was cooking for that liked chocolate so much
26:10
Someone, anyone, please make this a meme!
The kraken wakes 🤪
Cute how you can hear planes in the background
Wheeee!!!
The white tissue is the facia
Love 2FL love jennifer but every episode they cook on an Aga! I have only ever seen one and her parents were very posh.
💕💕💕
What haven't these two ladies not experienced?
Its astonishing - all of this is very keto-friendly (until the obligatory slurp of vodka)
That was the best part 🙄
Aww, the deer will be slaughtered soon. I eat meat but I try not to remember it was once a live (and sometimes cute) creature! 🥺
#PocketVenus
Food doesn't have much color. Love venison but that looked so drab. Clarissa must have drank enough to have the shakes from her hangovers.
Jennifer would garlic in pudding if it was feasible 😂😂😂😂😂
Love love love these ladies, even though I would never attempt anything they cook...
I think Jennifer looked rather ravishing when feeding the Buck with the Scottish lad next to her. RIP my dear!!! Cheers!
