I witnessed so many Canadians, and Canadian Jews, where I lived for almost 2 decades, going from ignorance, even pro-Israeli to opposite opinions about the Israel/Palestine issue through his work. One should.rememener that when Chomsky was raising the issue he was for decades extremely isolated but he never gave up. He was from the first western/American voices talking about Palestine. Today, there are many impressive historians and activists out there, most of them learned a lot from Chomsky. We owe so much to this exceptional man!

With him very interesting dialogue . Plus much more, if you’re honest, you might have a different opinion of your hero.
Chomsky had a lot of influence across several generations- his writings and lectures definitely influenced my worldview & I'm incredibly grateful. He will be irreplaceable, but we need people who will stand up and speak truth to power now more than ever.
