This was one of the most beautiful performances she has ever done. Camila is a Cuban/Mexican immigrant. When she was five years old, she and her mom left Mexico to make a better life for themselves but her father didn't come with them until more than a year later, after swimming the Rio Grande to join his family. Her story of life is beautiful and moving.
One little thing, her family left Cuba (i think they were living there) and since her mother and her are Cuban they were able to move here, but because her father was Mexican he didn't receive a visa and had to swim the River to be with them again. They're story is sad but thankfully it has happy ending 🥰
