Good video.
You can weigh piston and rod assemblies by hanging piston and little end of the rod and weighing the big end of the rod.
I usually weigh without rod bearings.
The total weight of the assembly minus the big end weight and you have your reciprocating number.
Also, you may know this; when balancing a pressure plate you must load the pressure plate.
I use three pieces of plastic or anything that will resemble loading the pressure plate like having the disc installed.
If not loading the pressure plate, a resonance frequency will be present resulting in a abnormal balance resulution imbalance.
It certainly will give you fits balancing a pressure plate.
