I've now purchased 2 gorgeous guitars (I play both drums and guitar), so a huge shout out to Sweetwater, and their 'candy!' Haha. Looking forward to starting Todd's new course, I too am a Chicago native and grew up listening to Styx.
His attitude and motivation for putting out his DVD was surely impressive and has moved me to seek it out. I just hope it lives up to what he said about it. I'll come back and post my two cents worth review and let everyone know.
Real dude! Great guy...AMAZING technical ability up with anyone of the greats but also has the rock sensibility of Bonham and can lock into groove w/o having to throw licks in all the time...but let him loose and watch out.

12(?) years ago saw Todd at some bar in Redondo in a trio and had to see doctor next day to have my jaw reattached
