Apparently, the plan is to return 777 in BR Lined Brunswick Green (Early Crest). I hope this doesn't turn out to be true as I'm sick to death of BR green and BR black on non-BR built locos

Is this similar to the S15 class?

Yes it is but the difference is the S15 was built for freight so it has smaller driving wheels. The N15 is for passenger work so it has larger wheels for better high speed running
