@1:49 "That" is Twin Lakes and one of the largest single organisms on the planet! The aspen grove on the east side of Mt Elbert is incredible. Looks like you hit it at the perfect time to see the colors going crazy! Kebler Pass near Crested Butte would be another incredible view in the fall.
Love your bird man... Johnson bar, turbo normalized... very nice. I landed at Mountain Air outside Asheville (Burnsville, NC / highest elevated east of the Rockies) once I bet it's been almost 20 years ago in a Piper 180; if my wife only knew how nervous I was going in there. The reading on your altimeter as you land is simply awesome.... Safe travels.
Nice! I’ve been in and out of there once in a Phenom 300. Was at night though and I didn’t see jack $&%#! Cool to see what it actually looks like around there. I’ve always kind of wondered. Also, that’s a nice setup/ panel on your Mooney!
@@ZentRose It sure was. I remember thinking, “Well that was cool, (Cool place and that the DA for GPS 16 is over 10,000 feet) but I didn’t see anything!”

That must have been really dark when you landed. There's not much out there!
