Those early Hudd catches were jaw dropping and I think for many of us we were placing orders for swimbait gear within minutes of seeing those estatic catches. Amazing stuff Butch. You are largely the catalyst for big bait/swimbait fishing being what it is today. And, we are still all blown away how you consistently put those same giants in the boat to this day. All hail King Brown!!
Pure inspiration, Butch! Since the day I caught a 7 pounder as a little kid I've been actively seeking giants too. Wish I would have thrown swimbaits sooner! Thanks for all you do for the kids and the true anglers out there. The naysayers are trolls to be ignored. We love ya - you are a legend sir!
I remember worm king, I worked in the sportmart fishing dept in Northridge in the late 80s. B4 the earthquake . Marv made some great pours back then. Worm king worms were awesome. So were Don iovinos worms. He made great worms reapers and little sculpins. Me and a few friends were usually the first ones to test out new colors and styles at lower castaic. There were tons of huge bass to catch there back in the 80s. The good old days

Every time I see you on TH-cam you say that same exact thing. Good on you for all you did.

Hey Butch,, how did you get into throwing the Huddleston Swimbaits? Where did you meet Ken Huddleston and what made you start fishing the Huddleston?
Your an inspiration! Keep on keeping on!
Only the OGs know what a WK Dinosaur was...or even Worm King for that matter.
I remember seeing one in a Roland martin book and I was hooked
