I think Chase on the ktm will be better outdoors. But yeah I agree, Justin, hunter and chase will be the biggest competition for Jett. Maybe Dylan if the bike is up to speed.

At least Justin cooper can ride full pace without holding back because of Webb and Eli. That kid is faster than the team allows.

It’s going to be hard being on a second string team. The dude is super fast. Not sure why kawi didn’t give him the ride. Hopefully he gets a bike next year. Certainly has the speed

The vets are feeling it by the end of a SX season + the money is in SX.... I don't think Eli was ever contracted to ride Outdoors anyway... unless i missed an announcement that he was going to ride..?

He announced that he will be doing mx and smx. Alluded to doing 2025 too. Kenny seems to be the only one that can cherry pick and still be in the hunt for a win. 🤷🏻♂️

Funny that even against a bunch of old and injured riders Jett still couldn't match McGrath's rookie year. Even if Jet wins Salt Lake he will have won 53 percent of the races while MC won 63 percent. That's 9 out of 17 for Jett and 10 out of 16 for MC but if Jett doesn't win at SL then his percentage would drop to 47. Either way, MC's 31 year old record remains #1.
@@MatthewC137no one cares about McGrath and his record racing nobodies for 7 straight years lol… Jett has had more competition and almost 50% of the races were rain races. 😂 Jett will pass the overall record. Already matched McGrath outdoors champions and is 3 race wins from tying him outdoors yawn
@@byronjames-zr2kp You must be a child to believe that MC was racing nobodies. You don't have a clue and obviously didn't exist. If you weren't loading diapers at the time you might know that MC didn't care about outdoors and chose not to focus on it. Jett won't hit 72 and he failed to match MC in his rookie year despite the lack of competition.

So bummed.for.eli.dude just terrible Denver is his kryptonite. Vince friese actually caused him to case that jump in practice. Who knows if that has something to do with it, seems like they paid him to hurt Eli as he's the only one no offense that could have truly challenged jett outdoors.
Eli wasn't going to challenge Jett. He couldn't put in a 21 minute SX main. Let alone a 35 minute outdoor moto.

Justin cooper and hunter will be fast. I think Justin is soo underrated. He has been playing the third team guy all season. He blocked for Webb last week. Not a mention from any media.

Eli needs to pack it up and move to the GPs while he can still put in a top 10 ride. He’s going to ride off into the sunset of retirement with the stigma of having 2 foreigners dominate him on his home turf. Jett and Herlings have both proved he’s only a big fish in his small pond, he needs to prove he can hang with the big fish on the world stage.
Kinda think he has proved that for sure. If he still loves it and a factory team will sign him. Why wouldn’t he race.

Told everybody it was time for Eli to retire. He'll never win another championship a sad and harsh reality. Jett is going to be the guy for a while.
You don’t think he knows that? He’s also told everybody he still enjoys racing. Why does he have to retire just because he isn’t the fastest anymore? He also told everybody he didn’t have a proper training offseason to even prepare for the year. Dude literally ripped his medical boot off and jumped on the bike last minute to do this at 31 yrs old

Eli just wasn't the same rider after the Achilles injury. I don't think that his heart is in it anymore, and this injury stops whatever challenge he could have mounted for the outdoor season.

What gave you that idea.. him openenly going back and forth with retirement... before he even hopped on a yamaha? Idk who actually thought he would be a contender his first year back after an injury that on its own. Puts most professional athletes into retirement. Congratulations you can add.

Let the legend race. Who cares if he does or doesn’t beat Jett. The fact he is equal 3rd in points, means he still has something to give. Maybe a win here or there. No one has properly beaten Jett straight up in 450. That’s a pretty good motivator for a gun like Eli.
