Easy. The answer is UHHHHHHHHHH-
If there was one animal I didn’t wish to be, it was a fish.
I’ve had an aversion to water from a very young age. When I was four I nearly drowned in a two-inch-deep pothole. When I was five and a half I accidentally waterboarded myself by jumping into a pool while wearing my spiderman mask. And don’t even ask me about the time I had to get an enema because pooping frightened and confused me.
But sometimes fate throws you a curveball and you wind up in the last place you expect.
Captain Lamy operated a deep-sea diving vessel. Her pursuits were mostly scientific. She had a great love for animals, especially squid. I met her in a bar near the waterfront. She had broken a bottle of sake over the head of a full-grown lion and knocked her out cold. Seeing something like that, how could I help but mosey on down the bar and get to know her?
We got to talking and as the night went long and the glasses piled up, next thing I knew I had volunteered for a deep-sea dive as one of her crewmates. When I woke up the day of the dive, I thought about moving to Canada, changing my name to John Vancouver, starting up a wilderness guide venture in the Yukon. But I didn’t. I resolved to face my fear in the most absurd manner possible. When I had about 50 leagues of seawater over my head, the fear gave way to a feeling I might term ‘abject despair at knowing the unavoidable certainty of your own demise in the most painful and panic-inducing way imaginable.’
Even so, I thought some light conversation might cheer me up. It was just Captain Lamy and I aboard the small vessel. I asked her what we were looking for. She said we were looking for a fish. But not just any fish.
We were looking for the Green-eyed Nene Fish.
The more Captain Lamy told me about it, the more I, too, became obsessed with finding it.
Did you know? The Green-eyed Nene Fish has the smallest brain to body size ratio of any known vertebrate and yet is able to make decisions beyond the scope of human intelligibility? It’s true.
And how about this factoid? The Green-eyed Nene Fish engages in a mutualistic relationship with a species of coral called ‘Cnidaria Nekko’. The coral gives the fish attention and money and the fish gives the coral black eyes and missing teeth.
Engaged in such educated conversation, we almost missed the tell-tale sound.
“Tasukete!!! I’m lost in a cave!!! Somebody!!! Tasukete!!!”
Lamy motioned me to shut the fuck up and engaged maximum overdrive towards the sound. At a blazing 2 knots per hour, we plowed through the depths and came to a small indent in the rocky seafloor. In the indent was a fish, green-eyes, pink hair, shapely pectoral fins, swimming in circles around the circumference of the impression.
“Tasukete!!! I’m lost in this cave!!!”
Lamy got behind the dash of the submersible and began to operate the arms. She gently scooped the fish out of the small crater and lifted her into open waters.
“Ah!!! Thank you gozaimasu!!! Here, Nene will grant you one wish each!!!”
It all made sense. Now I truly understood why Captain Lamy was so interested in this fish.
“I wish I was a fish,” said Captain Lamy.
“Okay!!!”
It’s not easy to describe an anime snow elf turning into something resembling a blue tuna. But there she was, flopping around on the submersible floor, suffocating.
I looked out at all that murky blue and purple and black. The green eyes of the Nene fish sparkled like emerald stars.
“And you!!?”
I knew what I had to do.
I twisted open the door of the submersible. Water flooded in, lifting up Tuna Lamy, allowing her to breathe. I savoured every last breath of air. I reflected on the wonderful irony of it all.
If there was one animal I didn’t wish to be.
“I wish I was a fish, too.”

This was a scary experience lol, she was so scared to get zenloss she only brought food, sword, bed and potions, she left the all important pickaxe or even just wood. You can hear pure happiness when she found the exit lol.

@@xxxenrezuesxeno4799 it's Minecraft mob spawning mechanics, since there's not a lot of location where land mob to spawn since nene surrounded with water, any small air pocket that allow land mob to spawn going to spawn crap load of mobs to meet mob quota.

And this was without counting vital hazards like silt clouds, air mix, nitrogen narcosis, decompression sickness...
Cave diving IRL is like the most harrowing shit, combined with having thalassophobia this would actually be my worst nightmare.

Oh my GOD. I've been putting this video off for the past 2 weeks because I thought she was going to share a real life diving experience cause of the thumbnail! And then when I see its minecraft I think oh its no big deal. Then seeing her get lost that long somehow brought back that fearful feeling of drowning !! Lol

Never spelunk alone! Always let someone know where you are going, if you can't get someone to come with. Cave diving is seriously my biggest fear. It combines all of my lesser fears, deep water, the unknown and getting lost. Subnautica was too much for me, I barely made it out of the tidepool starting area.
