Hey guys! Sadly the PC Market got ROCKED during the holidays and inventory has been suspect. We will do our best to update with other parts we suggest as alternatives, but give it some time and stock should improve. Check the descriptions for alternatives. Toastybros Team
Hello guys thanks for the good work. Was wondering where I can get the desk cover with computer building components design. Kindly help with the link. Love you guys
Just built a PC with almost the EXACT same specs a week ago but got an ASUS PRIME B550M-A WiFi-II MOBO and used rtx 3060 and a SK Hynix p31 1tb ssd in it. Very NICE!
This build guide was focused on the best and most "meta" parts for this price point, which is why you'll see a lot of the same CPU GPU combo at the same price points. We definitely do our fair share of uncommon combos throughout the rest of the year! :)
Glad you guys picked a good Gen 4 motherboard for the build. That RX 6600 (4x8) would really benefit from a R5 5600 and running in Gen 4 than 3. Great video as always.
Your first new parts budget build that's actually a budget build. Nice! A solid PC that's slightly slower than current gen consoles, but is much more attractive and adds so much more versatility.
Ughhh toasty bros made me fall in love with computers and the process of bulding them! My favorite thing to do is watch your videos. Yall should do budget gaming laptop setups
I have two of those ASRock RX6600 GPUs, a black and a white one. The white one cost $40 more though. I use the machine that has the black one in more than all my other machines combined. I’m a truck driver and that machine is in my semi. It’s a great GPU.
With Doom the dark ages, Gears of War E-day and a whole bunch of other games incoming in 2025, it's a good time to start a new build for sure. Trying to determine if a 4070 ti super is good pick or not.
Love the aqua 3 case, but it's tough plugging in the cpu 8pin. Ended up pre running the wire and plugging it in before I laid and secured the motherboard. Great content!!
I built one pc in the Aqua 3 case and it is the only one I have had a customer complain about the case getting hot when gaming for a long time. He is ordering his own case and I said I would swap the build to the other case for free (he is giving me that case back as labor I guess).
This is very close to the build I’m currently working on I got a steal of a deal on some aio water cooling, also the case I got for $30 so wasn’t some extra on areas like extra fans don’t have all the money for the last couple parts except I’m debating going for the 3600 and the 5700xt(however 99% sure I’m going to put my 3060 in there and keep the 5700xt) . Super excited to get into flipping PCs and continuing to be able to do so this waiting process and eating me 😅just little bit more GPU, CPU, and Mobo that’s it just need the money 💀
yup for the gen 4 support i went with ryzen 5 5600x and a ryzen 7 5800x but the ryzen 7 3800x has gen 4 support as well get a good gen 4 support motherboard for gpu, nvidia or amd are decent options out there. my results are that i have a couple builds that i'm happy to tinker with
I gotta say I’ve recently bought this case for my upgrade and I will say my build is alittle beefer with a ryzen 9 5900x 3090 founders And 48 gigs of ddr5 but this case has been handling the thermals like a champ with a low profile tower cooler my thermals are always around 70 to 75 under heavy load
I'm finally cutting the cord to my Playstation and building a PC this year. $700ish build; rtx 4060 (I know, I know, but ray tracing and dlss is important to me😁), ryzen 5600, 650 watt, 32 g of ram, asus mb. I'm actually really excited about this!
The mobo that is listed in the description is the ASRock B550M-HDV idk if that's intentional but its not the one you used also i myself couldn't find the ASRock B550M PG riptide under 169$ just wanted to share my findings
the price difference is probably because they bought the mobo at a different time but there should be a disclaimer if it was purchased prior price increase
@Pruflas-Watts GPU is fine for a cheaper build, 6600 would work fine for what I would use it for. I just don't like Cezanne AMD CPUs. Vermeer is so much better
Stand off 5 makes no sense to me I see it on motherboard but the case says the stand off is for U not A or am I just not seeing the A??? Ok I see the one he moved says U and he moved to a U location ....its correct on the motherboard but why does the case not indicate an A ?
Time Spy score 8158 and cost less than yesterdays TEMO Time Spy score of 8256 This build is VERY Up-gradable and you'd be lucky to find a replacement MB and other components for the TEMO build This is what makes the TEMO a bad idea to purchase PERIOD ! That's how the TEMO should have been reviewed, not defended and resold as a decent computer for the price, it isn't!
7 months ago Toasty's put out this video " CLEAN $600 Gaming PC Build - No RGB! Rx 6600 is equivalent to a rtx 2060. For that price ive seen 2080 super going for $200. Got my dad a 3060ti used for xmas for $180. You just cant beat that
outstanding. looking to build my second pc for either my kid or myself and this would work great for me as I'm not worried about 4k graphics growing up on Atari haha.
I put together recently kind of budget build, but I did a lot of shopping around and I got the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, from AliExpress $147 32 GB Team Group Ram ($43 Amazon black Friday sale) Gigabyte B550 Gaming X v2 motherboard Amazon($80 Amazon resale, crushed box but otherwise new), Lian li case ($89) Microcenters, 750w corsair PSU ($89.99 Newegg), RX 7800XT $359.69 Also from AliExpress, ID-cooling tower cooler ($20 Amazon) KLEVV NVMe 1TB ($47 Amazon). The whole build was 875.98 USD, but I had to wait, i think it was like 3-4 weeks for that CPU and GPU, I lost track I almost forgot I ordered them! 🤣
The performance of the build is really really good for the price I paid. The CPU's went up in price but I think there are some still on there for $150 ish, still a good deal for that CPU!
I just finished building my first build ever and it’s exactly this. Thank you Toasty Bros I couldn’t have done it without yall. Made sure it turns on and now I don’t know how to access the bios. I get a black screen that says New CPU Installed, and some other sentences along the screen. some advice would be useful please 🙏
How would Intel ARC B580 preform with r5 5500 or r5 3600 ? It would be interesting to see if r5 3600 would be the bottleneck or would it still be just fine. 5 year gap in hardware. 😅 Great video guys !
for a really old build i used a ryzen 3 2200g apu with a b520 itxmb 8gbram (ugly green stick) 250 gb boot drive m.2 nvme gen 3 with this foundation i installed chrome o.s flex with google playstore support as well all housed in a argb thermaltake case (used) dont know the exact model lol
Guys i have a question how would u rate this budget build , gigabyte a520m s2h , ryzen 3 4100, corsair cx650w , nox xtreme epsilon m-atx case , 2x8gb ddr4 sticks , a 512gb sata ssd (will upgrade in the future) And a used rtx 2060
I love your budget build guides! Anyways, I would shy away from the R5 5500, especially when using a B550 mainboard. Since all the GPU makers went to the nasty habit of equiping their entry level offerings with just 8 PCI Express lanes, going Gen 3 will result in a big performance hit. And all of them are doing it. Nvidia RTX 4060/TI, AMD 7600/XT and the new Intel B580. So, if possible, try to get a Gen 4 combo or you will be boned when trying to update to a reasonable GPU down the line (because I don't thing this trend is going away...).
Question about the reset wire that goes to the controller in the back. Upgrading my nephews fans and won't be using the controller in his case. Do I need to put the reset wire on the motherboard when I do that?
I spent like 100 more following this build, the GPU went up a bit and I went with 32gb of ram. Too bad the MOBO was sold out everywhere had go with their second recommendation.
I literally checked all the prices for all the components listed 1 day later and almost none of them can be found at the prices listed through your links... 🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂
why do some of the parts look different from what you actually use, i.e. the motherboard, the link for amazon take you to a totally different board, and it isn't 89.99
I built a pc for 50$ more including tax and shipping totaling at 600$ on price point Ryzen 5 5600x - USED (112$, Tax and shipping price included) Asrock B550m Pro 4 Micro ATX Motherboard - (86$ Tax and shipping price included) Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 16gb 3200mhz CL16 Ram - USED ( 37$ Tax and shipping price included) Teamgroup Mp44L 1tb M.2 SSD - (62$ Tax and shipping price included) Sapphire Nitro + RX 5700xt - USED (160$ Tax and shipping price included) Montech XR ATX Black Case - (68$ Tax and shipping price included) AGV 750W 80+ Bronze Power Supply Semi-Modular - (55$ Tax and shipping price included) 3 extra Thermalright TL-C12C-S Black RGB Fans - 15$ (Tax and shipping price included)
I have the same exact gpu cpu combo but i cant even barely run overwatch. The only thing is that i have only 8gb of ram, would that really make the difference?
Some points it’s running 98% of its RTX that’s crazy for only 115fps when my Xbox series x can barely run to the point of no fan noise and run 4K 120 stable easy
If I was on a budget like this, I'd get a used 5600X and a 2070 Super, way better performance for the price, sure, the 2070 Super is only a PCIe Gen 3 card, but it gives you some nice upgrade space down the line.

Great parts!
reusing same parts just proves the longevity quality that was launched previously good value speaks volumes for a build commitment
This is the same build as my PC. I followed your Easy $450 Gaming PC Build when upgrading my PC. I got same motherboard, 5600G, 16GB RAM, and RX6600M.
How’s it run Minecraft
An entertaining video as always. 2024 seemed like a great year for y'all. Praying 2025 is even better. Happy new year to you guys!

Because there is pretty much nothing else for this price point. If you put 800 or even a 1000 dollars, there so much more options.

I’m still rocking my ryzen 5 5600 with Sapphire Nitro+ 5700XT

outstanding build for the money. Happy New Year!
I love how cheap pc parts are in the US, brand new this card is still around £200-225 and around £150-170 used in the UK
Your first new parts budget build that's actually a budget build. Nice! A solid PC that's slightly slower than current gen consoles, but is much more attractive and adds so much more versatility.
This is a great budget build. I had this exactly. Then upgraded to 4060ti. Then upgraded again to 7800xt. Plays 1080p very well
always check if there’s a plastic strip under the ssd heatsink
Best GVG mall ad I've seen so far. LoL Love it :)
ZTT has this exact build for $550. Just proves it’s a good choice.
And he addressed NZXT something tdawgsmitty hasn't done.
