Nice train 👍 those carriages look great, but I still prefer the CIE orange and black but I nearly ended up in hospital when I saw the prices they go for on eBay. 😳😳😳
Unusual looking loco. It makes a change to have something on the layout that is different to what everybody else has got! It is a pity that there is such a limited range for the Irish modeller. The sound is not entirely convincing, but you can't grumble at that! Thanks for uploading.
Thanks for putting this up. I've recently received my own set of this rake and am looking forward to running with my own 8113. Looks like they are running very smoothly.
The coaches look even better than I’d hoped. I had wanted to buy an NIR set as I was after the Grill Car, being unique to the island of Ireland. Unfortunately, the NIR coaches were only available in sets of three and once my budget was clear eventually they’d all sold out.
Now we have the 141/181 back in production i wonder if paddy murphy will the 071 again.the price of them on thr second hand market is crazy .id love a 111 liveried loco but 450 euro for dcc ready is way too expensive.
Lovely running session, coaches are superb , IRM really knocked it out of the park with them.
100%

I'm probably the same myself so looking forward to seeing the CIE stock from Accurascale. The scalpers were out early on this one!

Thanks for that. The loco style shows it's US roots.

Hi Allan, super smooth. My advice is to use the provided magnetic couplers from day one. Will cover why in the review.
Coaches look fabulous, especially the grill bar.
Yeah, they're nice coaches alright.
Great video lovely smooth running I have a set myself in the process of setting up my layout cheers thanks
Thanks Patrick. The 071/111s are a lovely loco to run these with.

These are top models. The downside of the 3-packs is unfortunately the entry price as you noted.
Hopefully get another rerun of the 071 locos

Saw for 600 euro recently. To think these were on sale in Marks Models for 150 euro at one stage.
And to think that when i saw them for that price on Marks Models i thought “meh, another time”, oh what a fool i was!!
The common UK coaches bogies are too narrow. They don't have the spacing to convert to 21mm. IRM are looking into it.
Thanks George. Yes, the different gauge in the UK makes this more challenging than for the Irish stock.
Why don’t accurascale release some network rail measurement coaches as they’re definitely in demand
Yes absolutely!
Looking forward to my WCRC Mark 2b's & 2c's, finally getting proper more complete coaches.
